I've been going to Osteria sul Naviglio for years. I always feel at home.
Excellent service from the owners, courtesy, and a few good jokes in our Reggio Emilia dialect.
The restaurant is well-maintained and meticulously detailed.
There are historical artifacts inside.
The home-made cuisine is excellent. There's a buffet table! Don't forget to try the PARAMPAMPOLI.

Too expensive, €37 per person for a group of 18, about half of whom were kids, for tigelle and crescentine and a trio of first courses (tastings). For the tigelle and crescentine, each small bowl of cheese is paid separately, not included in the main course.
The owner tends to be pushy, even when choosing the menu.
A one-liter bottle of water was €3.50!
In the end, he complained because some of us paid in cash and others by card.
With a "funny" joke about Southern Italians.

The food is like a true local trattoria, something you're hard pressed to find these days. Everything is delicious and surprising, with excellent desserts. The zuppa inglese and the grape sauces with zabaglione are highly recommended.

A typical Emilian osteria I found with work colleagues, serving exceptional dishes.
Whenever I'm in the area, this is a must-stop. My colleagues and I have always had a great time, both with the good food, the friendly owners, who have been running this place for over 30 years, and the reasonable prices. I recommend the pumpkin tortelli with soffritto. Well done, guys.
