I returned after many years to this place that I once loved, but not without forgetting the reason why I never returned. A nice table with friends, including non-Italians, who I hadn't seen for a long time and the first impact was: Don't make a mess! Let me start by saying that we said goodbye inside the place and as it was early it was empty) Not wanting to ruin the evening I kept quiet. Throughout the evening we were often entertained by the manager with inappropriate jokes thinking he was being funny, but not knowing the subjects he was just heavy 😡 the good first courses, good dumplings and tigelle with wine in tow. Being a large company the price was given per couple (65 without receipt) but I assure you that at home when you were dealing with the menu it was heavy but.... Never as heavy as the manager. My advice is to first evaluate who is in front of you and then slowly start joining the companies. A good job to the owner who was very nice trying to make up for everything 😘

Decent food, the owner is the classic type who wants to be nice, but doesn't succeed. Too many out of place jokes. All in all though, we can go there.

Very good food. Varied and good appetizer buffet. Good Lambrusco house wine Good sweets with speck and taleggio Good pork stew with polenta. Ladies at the tables very kind and attentive. Right price...so...???? Too much time waiting for the dishes....SIN....SIN This is why I don't think I'll return.

You can eat very well...genuine and well-cooked things. Owners Claudio and Gemma friendly and helpful. The buffet starter is excellent and plentiful.... cracklings, salami and all sorts of goodies at will. Excellent first courses as well as the meat. Fair price...I recommend it to those who love Emilian cuisine! I forgot....gnocco is fabulous tigelle!!!!

We had lunch there on a Saturday in early January 2025 with a group of relatives, and we really enjoyed everything! We start with the appetizer buffet, full of many different tastings... but you have to know how to contain yourself, otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the other courses! The cuisine is purely Reggio Emilia and familiar, and the place is a real tavern, with the owner who, as in the past, stops to chat with customers and, if he sees that there is something left in a dish, demands that let it be finished... In short, you can eat well and feel good. For a complete meal you can spend up to €40, but it's all worth it.

Siamo stati all’osteria su consiglio di un’amica e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ottimo cibo: lo gnocco fritto squisito, forse il brodo leggermente saporito ma i cappelletti fantastici, si sentiva fossero fatti a mano e dal ripieno sostanzioso. I proprietari accoglienti e cordiali. Prezzi adeguati e onesti. Grazie!

Alla ricerca di un posto aperto a pranzo in questo ultimo weekend d'agosto, ci siamo imbattuti in questo locale tipico reggiano. La cucina è davvero al top, abbiamo mangiato molto molto bene dall'antipasto fino al dessert. Ciliegina sulla torta la simpatia dei gestori con i quali ci siamo a più riprese intrattenuti in chiacchiere. Conto assolutamente appropriato alla qualita e quantita di ciò che abbiamo gustato. Inutile dire che ci torneremo quanto prima!
