What can I say? The restaurant is near perfection for my tastes. The dishes are sophisticated, but not overdone, and still hold to tradition. The portions are generous, and the prices are slightly below the local average. This makes the quality/price ratio extremely advantageous. I had a farro and cavolo nero soup for my first course, which was very good. For my second course, a tagliata steak, which was exceptional and melted in my mouth. My wife ordered a tagliatelle alla bresaola parcel, with homemade pasta, and was thrilled. My son went for the classic pizzichero, which he loved. The desserts are also homemade and sublime. We ate last night and have booked for tonight too, we had such a great time. Congratulations.

It's been two years since my review. Two years in which we've eaten here at Moleta several times. I would have expected them to make a mistake at least once; it would have been natural. But no, everything is always perfect, with flavors that will send your palate into raptures. The chef's recommended dishes are constantly changing, so it's impossible to get bored; there's always something exciting to order. But be warned: Trattoria Moleta is so good it can be addictive.

A truly welcoming restaurant serving traditional Valtellina cuisine. We had pizzoccheri and venison carbonata with polenta, both delicious. Service was quick despite the restaurant being packed, and the waiters were very friendly. I highly recommend it!

We stopped by on our way to Bormio. The restaurant is located near the provincial road connecting Tirano to Bormio.
The restaurant has three dedicated parking spaces next to the building, but there's another public parking lot 70 meters away (about 20 spaces).
There were four of us and we ordered different dishes. We loved them all. The risottos were really good.
The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the dishes.
For four first courses, one risotto for children, one pizza to share, 1 liter of house wine, water, and coffee, we spent €99.

We booked late, but they still found us a seat. The sciatt were the best I've ever had—light, dry, and perfectly fried. We then had tagliata and tzigoiner with baked potatoes. To finish, two braulio sorbets, all delicious. The place is clean and the staff very friendly. Finally, the bill was excellent value.
