A peaceful corner in the greenery just a few minutes from Rome! At the Osteria del Malpasso I had lunch outdoors, under large umbrellas and surrounded by nature: a truly splendid location, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the typical cuisine in a serene atmosphere. I tasted a very tender spicy lamb stew, accompanied by baked potatoes that were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, really well done. To conclude, a homemade sour cherry tart, with an authentic and delicate flavour. Friendly service, traditional Roman dishes and a welcoming environment. I recommend this tavern to those looking for a restaurant with Roman cuisine and outdoor tables surrounded by greenery in southern Rome. I will definitely be back!

Pleasant and familiar environment. The place is historic and welcoming and you wouldn't think it has a very particular history behind it. The service is very good, the food is characteristic Roman but it could be improved. Invited for a birthday so I can't indicate costs. The kitchen was unable to prepare a table service that could satisfy diners. 8 people at the table and dishes for 5 or 6 people, so some had to divide how much at the table to allow all the guests to taste the dishes

19/09/2025: Went there twice during our stay. On a terrace on a quiet little street. We ate well, especially the pasta with clams. We shared a plate of homemade desserts. Good place.
18/09/2025: A lovely, authentic restaurant in Monti. More locals than tourists compared to Trastevere. We had the mixed bruschetta platter as a starter and both had the homemade spaghetti. The service and food were very good. Highly recommended.

09/07/2025: My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! The location was unmatched with SO many food options right outside our door. The rooms were so clean, beds comfortable, and a great view. The waters and coffee provided in the room were a fantastic touch as well, and the staff was always friendly. The included breakfast next door was wonderful— be sure to try the orange juice. It was the best I’ve ever had! We arrived a few hours before check in and were able to leave our luggage, which was very appreciated. I look forward to staying again when I can make it back to Rome!
27/04/2025: Top of the top. Room taken 1 hour before without problems. Location right in the center of the old town. Everything is nearby. Impeccable cleanliness. Nothing to complain about. Thank you!
