A peaceful corner in the greenery just a few minutes from Rome! At the Osteria del Malpasso I had lunch outdoors, under large umbrellas and surrounded by nature: a truly splendid location, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the typical cuisine in a serene atmosphere.
I tasted a very tender spicy lamb stew, accompanied by baked potatoes that were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, really well done. To conclude, a homemade sour cherry tart, with an authentic and delicate flavour.
Friendly service, traditional Roman dishes and a welcoming environment. I recommend this tavern to those looking for a restaurant with Roman cuisine and outdoor tables surrounded by greenery in southern Rome. I will definitely be back!

Pleasant and familiar environment. The place is historic and welcoming and you wouldn't think it has a very particular history behind it. The service is very good, the food is characteristic Roman but it could be improved. Invited for a birthday so I can't indicate costs. The kitchen was unable to prepare a table service that could satisfy diners. 8 people at the table and dishes for 5 or 6 people, so some had to divide how much at the table to allow all the guests to taste the dishes

A journey through time.
Typical Roman trattoria with traditional dishes with daily rotation additions and blackboard menu. Comfortable place. The outdoor space is particularly enjoyable in good weather. Service and cuisine of the past, so much so that every time you go it seems like you're taking a trip back to the 60s and 70s. No parking problems. Honest prices. Must try.

Sono capitato all’Osteria del Malpasso per caso ed mangiato benissimo meravigliandomi di non esserci venuto prima. Ho trovato una bella atmosfera, un servizio gradevole e amichevole senza eccessi. Il posto perfetto. Primi abbondanti e gustosi, notevoli i tonnarelli con merluzzo, e secondi e contorni della tradizione ben cucinati. Personale educato e gentile e gentili le proprietarie Alessandra ed Emilia. I prezzi assolutamente corretti.

3 stars for the gricia with...... fettuccine.... scones and boiled bacon when the house wine should be crunchy, terrible and a €35 bill.
The friendliness of the waiter and the sour cherry tart are saved.

Abbiamo trovato un po' per caso questo ristorante e abbiamo deciso di fermarci. Il posto è molto carino e ben curato. Il servizio è abbastanza buono. I piatti sono ottimi e i primi sono divini e abbondanti. Il prezzo, però, è un po' elevato per ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Abbiamo pagato 12€ di pane, un po' eccessivo direi! Ma il giudizio è abbastanza positivo ugualmente.
