The pizzas are really good, but unfortunately the rest of the food isn't up to par. I ordered lentil soup with sagnette pasta: unfortunately, the lentils were almost raw. When I asked to replace the dish, I was told that "over there" they cook it that way and that they had been cooked for 45 minutes, the required time.
I'm from L'Aquila and know the lentils of our area well: when they're undercooked, you can taste it right away.
So I tried another pasta dish, which was very heavy and unpleasant, so much so that I only managed to eat a small portion.
I'll be back, but only for the pizza.

Capitati per caso a Castel del Monte a ora di pranzo, ci siamo fermati qui.
Ottimi strozzapreti con funghi porcini, e due secondi di arrosticini e salsicce.
Tutto perfetto.
Prezzi modici e gentilezza del personale.
Per chi capita lì è un must.

Cena tipica: agnello ottimo così come il vino. Primo di sugo un po’ scarico di sapore (rimasto deluso, anche se non posso dire fosse cattivo). Pallotte e formaggio fritto non li ho capiti, gommose le une e troppo unto l’altro…non penso fossero perfetti.
