Home style, everything excellent, I recommend the lentil soup with the addition of a little chili oil and the arrosticini and the pallotte cacio e ove are unmissable. Arrived by pure chance while visiting the village but recommended!

Capitati per caso a Castel del Monte a ora di pranzo, ci siamo fermati qui. Ottimi strozzapreti con funghi porcini, e due secondi di arrosticini e salsicce. Tutto perfetto. Prezzi modici e gentilezza del personale. Per chi capita lì è un must.

• The place is truly special, located in the beautiful town of Castel del Monte in the province of L'Aquila. • The restaurant offers various typical local dishes such as kebabs, lentils, cheeses etc... I opted for the lentil soup with a typical local pasta and a starter of typical cheeses. Everything was very good and delicious. Truly exquisite. • The service was quite precise, fast and professional. • Excellent quality/price ratio. I absolutely recommend if you are in the area!

The location is very pleasant and the restaurant is in a good position, but the service was rather slow and scattered: we waited a long time. The food was not satisfactory, our impression is that some products were not up to expectations.

Excellent tavern to warm up and recharge your batteries after walking in the area! the restaurant offers typical traditional dishes and fairly reasonable prices, also considering the excellent quality! Precise and fairly fast service. Advised!

Ottima osteria che offre un'ampia scelta per carne e formaggi, garantendo una variegata offerta anche per la pizza. Siamo tornati più di una volta dato l'ottimo cibo e la gentilezza del personale. Sicuramente consigliato l'antipasto misto per chi vuole assaporare i prodotti del territorio.

31/05/2025: The environment is serene, clean and calm. The decor is very nice, the seats are limited but with enough space to eat comfortably. The dishes are refined, particular and of good quality, they stand out for the bitters and grappas.

15/04/2025: Locale molto luminoso con ampie vetrate in una unica e bella sala. Ottimo servizio. Mi aspettavo una cucina del territorio ed ho trovato proposte un poco anonime. L'antipasto aveva di tipico/locale le pallotte cacio e uova al sugo e un piccolo soufflé con zafferano e tartufo, entrambi ottimi. Per il resto prosciutto, formaggio, ricotta buoni ma non indimenticabili. Di primi abbiamo scelto dei paccheri con baccalà e peperone. Nulla di che, pasta al dente e un accenno di sapore di baccalà. Le scelte dei secondi di limitavano ad un paoo di opzioni di carne e il baccalà in umido, forse perché il giorno successivo era quello di chiusura. Na abbiamo fatto a meno. Per i prezzi non posso dire nulla perché sono stato ospite.
