I found this place by pure chance. I walked in and was immediately amazed. The place looks perfect, nothing too special, but that's what makes it special: very welcoming, beautifully decorated, a truly respectable trattoria. The staff are very professional and welcoming, as are the owners. The varied menu is excellent, in my opinion. The place is absolutely below average in terms of prices; I ate very well and paid a pittance. Try it and believe it.

Trattoria più che degna di nota a due passi da piazza Statuto. Nonostante la scelta à la carte fosse molto ricca, ho preferito optare per il menu piemontese a base di vitello tonnato (perfetto, affettato sottile e con le giuste proporzioni di acciughe capperi tonno vino bianco), agnolotti al sugo d'arrosto squisiti, dal ripieno davvero gustoso, stracotto al Barbera tenero e speziato cucinato a bassa temperatura con contorno di purè di patate, e per dolce un classico bonèt preparato a regola d'arte. Compresi nei 25 euro, prezzo onestissimo, una bottiglia di un buon Barbera d'Asti e un aperitivo di benvenuto con fette di salame tagliate al coltello accompagnate da un calice di Prosecco. Impossibile chiedere di più. Proprietari e personale cortesi e competenti, ambiente confortevole (più gradevole e raccolta la sala piccola rispetto a quella di maggiori dimensioni), indispensabile la prenotazione. Consiglio finale forse scontato ma da tenere sempre presente: state lontani dalle fasulle, costose piole per turisti che affollano via Po, piazza Vittorio e zone limitrofe, il Quadrilatero o San Salvario, spesso promosse da foodstagrammer e foodtoker adeguatamente manceggiati, e dirigetevi verso locali come questo. Non rimarrete delusi.
