Too many times we end up not reviewing the restaurant where we usually go, where we eat as well as at a family lunch and for this reason we take it for granted that we know how good we feel in that place... this is how the count's tavern is for us, the Sunday lunch restaurant, where we always go and always eat well... this Sunday's lunch (October 13th) deserved the review even if it was almost a month late, not only to gratify them, Giancarlo, Amanda and their team, but to ensure that someone reading the review may decide to go... with the room full they managed to make us feel unique, we ate an octopus (grilled to perfection) resting on a fresh and tasty caprese, a crostini with creamed cod and a salad of microgreens (what a gem!), linguine with sea hog (sea magnosa for the less Sicilian) a truly special crustacean, similar to lobster but not farmed and when he finds himself at the local fish counter, an attentive chef like Giancarlo cannot miss it... we drank a nice bottle of sun and wind from Bartoli and ate for dessert a millefeuille with pistachio ice cream (made by them)... Too bad we went out on Via Garibaldi there was no seafront to walk on, but thanks to the smells and flavors of lunch, closing your eyes you could easily imagine it. Thank you!

Dinner for four. I must say that three of us ate well, unfortunately the other member of the group did not. Among other things, he had ordered something simple. It's a shame, I know from experience that a hitch can happen, but I want it to at least be recognised. For this I gave three stars. If it happens I will return to see whether to confirm or add the fourth star.
