A trattoria like Roman trattorias used to be! Authentic, genuine, and delicious. The owner, from Isernia, and his wife, are very kind. Highly recommended!

Authentic and welcoming Roman trattoria! I ate at this trattoria and was truly satisfied. The atmosphere is family-friendly, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the traditional Roman dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The seafood is limited, but well-prepared. The carbonara is simply perfect, perfectly creamy, and the amatriciana is a real treat. The house wine and homemade desserts are also excellent. Fair prices and generous portions. A true slice of Rome where you'll always want to return!

A traditional osteria of yesteryear... Roman cuisine, a classic, unwritten menu with traditional home-cooked dishes, well-prepared and generous portions, but the variety is limited by the limited kitchen capacity (as it once was). The carbonara and matriciana are excellent, other pasta dishes (I'm told) are excellent, but cacio e pepe could use a rethink... Overall, a positive review: I used to come here many lifetimes ago, as a child, with my family, and it's the same! It could be a virtue or a vice, for me it's a virtue, but I didn't like the cacio e pepe; other dishes are better.
