A traditional osteria of yesteryear... Roman cuisine, a classic, unwritten menu with traditional home-cooked dishes, well-prepared and generous portions, but the variety is limited by the limited kitchen capacity (as it once was). The carbonara and matriciana are excellent, other pasta dishes (I'm told) are excellent, but cacio e pepe could use a rethink... Overall, a positive review: I used to come here many lifetimes ago, as a child, with my family, and it's the same! It could be a virtue or a vice, for me it's a virtue, but I didn't like the cacio e pepe; other dishes are better.

This little restaurant prepares delicious food and serves it quickly, courtesy of a sweet, appreciative elderly couple. Highly recommended!

A super restaurant. The restaurant was run by a super nice typical Italian old man and his wife (probably) was in the kitchen. It was surprisingly quiet, but so far we ate within a few minutes of ordering. The food was delicious. Various house breads are also served. The restaurant is also not expensive at all if you compare it with places elsewhere in Rome. Really great👍

As a starter I ordered a tomato toast and as a first course I had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. I liked it so much that I will go back more than once.

The food is exquisite, the homemade pasta, the tartufao was delicious, and the service is excellent and very friendly. The panna cotta is delicious. A 10-star restaurant.

15/09/2025: I've been going there for years, ever since it was still called Acquarius. Over the years, it's transformed into a charming place (it used to be just a pizzeria with a beach club) thanks to significant investments. I don't frequent the beach club so much as the restaurant, where I've always found courtesy and a willingness to accommodate even off-menu requests (when possible). The fish is fresh and you can taste it, the cuisine is sophisticated but not overly so, and the wine list is excellent and frequently updated. The only flaw is that they no longer serve my favorite white wine, a Ceretto Arneis—a shame. For the rest, my compliments, truly...
