A hidden gem. We only had a short time in Dongo, but we were really glad we found this place. The owner was really friendly and explained the menu vert well. The food was excellent, as was the wine. All in all, a great night out.

Increíble experiencia auténtica, comida genial, propietario fantástico. Ingredientes locales frescos. Se siente como si estuvieras en el patio trasero de alguien en Manchester, ¡pero funciona! Bien vale la pena una visita, me encantó cada momento

26/12/2024: Nice place with good soft light. Attentive service, friendly staff even though after the starter they took away the glass of sparkling wine so I had to continue using the normal wine glass Good food but without particular merits
25/12/2024: Vorrei iniziare questa recensione RINGRAZIANDO i MERAVIGLIOSI proprietari del Ristorante Al Torchio...e ovviamente tutto il.loro staff....l'eccellenza che li contraddistingue si percepisce dalle SBLIMI PIETANZE , perfetto connubio di sapori antichi rivisitati in chiave moderna....accostamenti particolari molto ricercati che fanno vivere davvero un VIAGGIO INDIMENYICABILE. Rivisitare un PRANZO NATALIZIO in chiave moderna è MAESTRIA, ed è ciò che loro offrono a Noi clienti... Al Torchio ha la capacità di far sentire a casa .....una casa piena di calore dove trascorrere giornate SPECIALI come il Natale... Grazie di cuore Famiglia Fumagalli... Edoardo ....Clara e Mario...

25/01/2025: Beautiful experience, intimate and welcoming restaurant in the historic center of Como. All the staff were very kind and knowledgeable, particularly in the explanation of each dish. If you want to have a special dinner this is the right place.
17/01/2025: After the warm welcome, when we moved on to the tasting, it was very pleasing to see a team that values ​​Como and this region. A Lugana with a deep character, wonderfully lingering on your palate and aged for 5 seasons accompanied us. In our menu, which philosophy is respect for nature and locality, cat fish, ossobucco with a new perspective and pigeon completed with foie gras with pomegranate sauce were prominent.
