A local gem! Julio and Ludovica were absolutely wonderful hosts! The service was warm, personal, and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a hand-picked cheese tray featuring local products, each one introduced with care and knowledge. Both spoke fluent English and shared fascinating insights into local social customs, making the experience even more special. A perfect blend of authentic Tuscan flavors and genuine hospitality — highly recommended!

A wonderful discovery, a simply extraordinary restaurant, faultless, welcoming and smiling staff, very refined cuisine, worthy of a gourmet restaurant. An address to remember. For my part, the only downside is the price of wine by the glass, which is overpriced compared to the price of the bottle. Apart from that, I will return.

Awesome spot for aperitivo and more! Visited as part of a food tour, and it was a lovely experience. Wish we’d had more time to return for a full dinner experience, but we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Florence.

Simply perfect!!! Everything was wonderful!! We ordered the ricotta and spinach gnudi with pecorino and truffles, which was excellent, and the tiramisu, which was amazing! Best choice!!!

I had such an amazing experience at this restaurant, from great service to a beautiful atmosphere and not to forget the impeccable food. The waitress was so good at explaining the menu and we took her recommendations and were not disappointed. This was a culinary experience I will not forget and will definitely back if I find myself in Firenze again.

Il Borro Tuscan Bistro is the finest restaurant that I visited in Florence. It is the ultimate farm to table Tuscan experience. The front of house recognized our reservation and sat us immediately. The service was Michelin star-quality, attentive without being overly intrusive. One seated us, another offered cocktails, a third offered wine and possessed detailed knowledge of how the wine was made, and a fourth provided menus with recommendations on food. The meal was exceptional. My friend started off with a Chardonnay made with 100% Chardonnay grapes, grown by the owner of the farm and restaurant. Our first course was a deliciously refreshing antipasto that consisted of fresh field greens, capers, walnuts, crisp pears, generous wedges of pecorino cheese, and sprinkled with honey that gave it a bittersweet and crunchy cravebility that whetted our appetites. For the primi, we had the tagliatelle with a Guinea fowl ragu. The pasta was perfectly Al dente and the ragu was a comforting melange of tender poultry and vegetables in a reduced broth that tasted and presented as elevated comfort food. For the secondi, we ordered the famed regional dish, the Bistecca—a T-bone steak served sliced with the bone on a hot plate with a side summer vegetables. The Bistecca was prepared perfectly medium rare and was well rested, retaining all of the juices. We ended our meal with lemon panna cotta that had herbaceous notes of sage and a vibrant tropical mango coulis. It was a perfectly light dessert to follow the heaviness of the steak. I spoke to each of the staff who were exceptionally friendly. I give this restaurant my highest recommendation. This is now a favorite, and one of the best restaurants I have visited in 2025.
