Nice location, very friendly staff. Wines good!!! Appetizer too. Main course don't take the lamb chops because they are heavily breaded and seem to be fried and therefore ruined. Octopus ok.

The last visit to the Osteria dei Poeti really left a big smile on my lips.
Currently the only company in Volterra that creates a perfect union between the tradition of tastes and refinement of technique, in my opinion.
The flavor of the confit tomatoes of the tartlet, an incredibly light and crunchy pastry, is strong and enveloping.
The duck breast leaves you speechless, truly perfect, worthy of the Chef who enriched his training by spending years in Paris. To underline on a positive note the Sala manager, precise, prepared and attentive to every need.
Recommended for any occasion, from the most formal to simple stops without plans. Thanks Chef, see you soon.

Well thought out, plentiful and good dishes with quality products.
The girls in the room were really nice, friendly and prepared.
Bill perfectly proportionate to what you eat.
The only advice I can give is to change the chairs with a model that is more suited to the rest of the environment.
I recommend it for anyone who is in Volterra and wants to eat in a slightly more refined place.

Walking through the streets of this beautiful town we went to the Osteria dei Poeti. The lady welcomed us very well. Nice, elegant and clean place. The dishes are well presented and taste very good, as are the desserts. Cost on average. I recommend it.

Walking through Volterra, we decide to stop and eat some truffles and therefore decide to ask for advice on where we can go to eat.
They recommended 3 restaurants to us and taking a look on the internet we decided to try this restaurant.
Very beautiful and elegant location, even though there were no other customers, we decided to go in and stop for lunch.
The chef, a young boy, and the girl in the dining room, made us spend an excellent lunch with very good and well presented food, excellent choice also on the wine list.
Equally interesting desserts.
Good value for money.

Nos dejamos caer en el bar frente a la Osteria para un café post almuerzo con panforte y pan pepato. El personal detrás del mostrador era encantador - los cafés eran geniales y realmente disfrutamos del panforte y pan pepato, así que volvimos para bebidas antes de la cena (aperitivo) . Realmente disfrutamos de los aperitivos y el personal fue muy amable al explicar cómo hacer las bebidas. Este es un gran lugar para el café y aperitivos!

Coffee and aperitivi
We dropped into the bar in front of the Osteria for a post lunch coffee with panforte and pan pepato. The staff behind the counter were lovely - the coffees were terrific and we really enjoyed the panforte and pan pepato, so we came back for pre-dinner drinks (aperitivi). We really enjoyed the aperitivi and the staff were really nice about explaining how to make the drinks. This is a really great spot for coffee and aperitivi!
