I had lunch at Osteria dei Poeti and had a truly pleasant experience. The setting is welcoming and well-maintained, with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The menu offers well-prepared traditional dishes, made with fresh ingredients and generous portions. I particularly enjoyed the first courses, which were flavorful and cooked with attention to detail. The second courses also did not disappoint, accompanied by delicious side dishes. The service is friendly and attentive, always with a smile. The wine selection is also good. Overall, a place where you eat well and feel welcomed. Recommended for those seeking authenticity and quality.

Judging by the photos on The Fork and those on Google, I thought I was going into a completely different place... the place was particularly dark, and the dishes weren't as pictured. My partner and I ordered a platter to share as an appetizer, the fillet with pecorino cheese, and the wild boar Volterrese-style for the main course, accompanied by potatoes and a salad... the dishes were good, although my side potatoes were burnt.
Honorable mention goes to the waitress, who was kind and friendly.
With a glass of wine by the glass, without The Fork discount, we spent €71.
Decent, but I wouldn't return.

What a pleasant discovery! Encouraged by recent reviews, we decided to try this charming restaurant in the center of Volterra, and of course, everything was confirmed. The menu is varied and the dishes are very tasty. The staff is very friendly.

L’ultima visita all’Osteria dei Poeti mi ha lasciato davvero un grande sorriso sulle labbra.
Attualmente l’unica realtà volterrana che crea un connubio perfetto tra la tradizione dei gusti e raffinatezza della tecnica, a mio dire.
Il sapore dei pomodori confit della tarteletta, una sfoglia incredibilmente leggera e croccante, è deciso e avvolgente.
Il petto d’anatra lascia senza parole, davvero perfetto, degno dello Chef che ha arricchito la sua formazione trascorrendo anni a Parigi. Da sottolineare con una nota positiva la responsabile di Sala, precisa, preparata e attenta ad ogni necessità.
Consigliato per ogni l'occasione, dalle più formali a semplici soste senza programmi.
