Honest prices, decent food, friendly staff

I came on Sunday for lunch. The first courses are very good and you leave full, the platter of cold cuts and cheeses is quite poor for its price, the bread seemed to be from the day before. The service is quite slow, from the moment we sat down we waited 20 minutes to order and about 40 to have the first course, but it was Sunday lunch, many other places were closed so there were a lot of people, and there was only one waitress so it's understandable.

Typical tavern with a large variety of dishes including meat and fish. Owner and staff very kind and welcoming. We tried some typical first courses including the delicious gnocchi with duck sauce and the recommended tagliatelle al ciauscolo. We plan to return soon to try the other specialties.

In a well-kept and old-time location I was able to taste with satisfaction some traditional local dishes offered by this tavern located in the center of Macerata. Worthy of note are the cargiù, particular giant ravioli served in various ways. Generous portions. The house wine is good. An experience definitely worth repeating...

Wrong account too. The pizzas cost 9 euros each, one without mozzarella, one without tomato should cost less, not more. The coffee was not offered, we paid for it with a suspicious surcharge. We are not tourists but we live near Macerata. I gave 5 stars for the service which was excellent, for the rest I'll refer you back. Obviously you have, perhaps, lost 2 customers.

A place renowned in Macerata for its excellent value for money, the food is good and the drinks are better, a friend of mine organized a buffet aperitif for her graduation, we were 20 people and we were all very satisfied, the staff is very kind and helpful.
