We stumbled upon it by chance, but we were impressed. Starting with the warm welcome, the humorous menu, and the friendly waiter made the evening very enjoyable. The typical dishes and homemade pasta were excellent. We tried the typical Tuscan crostini, the pappardelle with hare sauce, and the burrata ravioli with eggplant and cherry tomatoes, all very good. Highly recommended if you want to have a laugh while you eat. 🤗

Came here two nights in a row when we only had two nights in Florence! Food and vibe is just what you need after a long day of exploring. Relaxed, food is fairly priced, food comes quick enough but you don’t feel rushed. Portion sizes are good enough but the food so delightful you want more :) Recommend all the vegetarian pastas

I dined alone at this restaurant and ate very, very well. AMBIENCE: The restaurant is adjacent to the Basilica of Santa Croce. It's clean, simple, rustic, and has a few tables outside. SERVICE: The young man who served me was extremely kind, as were his staff, even if only to keep me from spending the entire evening alone at the table. I asked for suggestions on what to choose from the various options, and he was very kind in offering some suggestions. FOOD: Everything was very good, from the Tuscan crostini, to the pappa al pomodoro, and the perfectly cooked fillet steak. I ordered a good Tuscan wine to accompany the meal. I must say, there was a lot of wine. Obviously, I couldn't ask for too old a vintage for the glass, but the quality of the wine was good. If I'd been with company, I would have chosen a bottle of a certain quality and a few years older. VALUE FOR MONEY: Absolutely excellent value, in line with the reasonable prices of restaurants in central Florence, as well as on the outskirts (in Scandicci, at a very similar restaurant, I paid practically the same amount). OVERALL OPINION: Highly recommended for the staff, the good food, and the location.

We booked for lunch, and I must say everything was delicious. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it's popular, so you might not get a table. The staff is friendly and eager to recommend the best dishes. Given the location and the quality of the food, the price for lunch is a bit higher than average, but it's worth it. Be aware of this when booking (if you prefer a quick and inexpensive meal, this place isn't for you). We ordered (all shared so we could fully appreciate as many dishes as possible), and as pictured, we ordered an appetizer, tagliolini with truffle, and the famous Florentine "ciccia" (rare, melt-in-the-mouth steak). The minimum for two people is a 1.5 kg tagliata (a sliced ​​steak), including a cover charge and a bottle of water, for a total of €130.50. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes if we ever pass through Florence again!

A completely positive experience! We went for lunch with friends on a Saturday and were amazed by both the service, led by very friendly and attentive staff, and the food. The Florentine steak was delicious, but I'd also recommend the steak tartare, the various first courses, and the house platter, which were truly delicious. They're also really friendly with dogs; for example, they even brought us an extra jug of water in addition to the usual bowl. The location is also splendid, perfect for a tour of Florence :)

In my humble opinion, this is the best osteria in Florence. An enviable location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and impeccable food. I've returned after many years and will definitely return on my next visit.
