Osteria Dei Meravigliati In Canelli

A place to spend excellent evenings whether for two or for many... quality food, excellent cellar.

We chose Osteria dei Meravigliati for a group lunch: there were 11 of us, with 3 small children and 2 babies. One of the main reasons for our choice was the menu, which offered vegetarian options, perfect for 3 of us. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the tasting menu had a vegetarian variant, with excellent value for money and adequate portions. On the tasting menu, the starters were a little smaller than those ordered a la carte, but the full menu was more than enough to fill us up, while also giving us the chance to try a variety of different dishes. The location is very pleasant and spacious, perfect for groups and families. The staff were extremely friendly, with particular attention to children: they provided us with high chairs and we found a changing table in the bathrooms, a detail really appreciated. In summary, Osteria dei Meravigliati is a welcoming and well-organised place, ideal for families and groups, with excellent cuisine and impeccable service. I highly recommend it!

I'm sorry to give a below average rating but the young staff definitely needs to be trained better... They don't know what's in the dishes (not even trying to ask the chef) and they tell you that a dessert is available only then 5 minutes after it is finished... also making what I believe to be the room manager who actually works well and knows what he is doing make a "bad" impression. The food is good and the bill is in line with other restaurants in the area. The fresco inside is very nice

This Osteria will certainly be much more welcoming and scenic in the warmer months...I was for dinner a week ago and everything was very cold: the environment, the food, the service. However we ate well, the pork cheek deserves 10 With a little more care in the service and the more generous portions of a tavern, this place would really be recommended... The internal location is not to my tastes but it is certainly particular. I'll be back in the spring.

Wonderful discovery... traditional dishes revisited in a more elegant way, excellent quality, correct portions and costs. The person in charge is a "nice, kind and polite character"... able to put anyone at ease. The environment immerses you in an art gallery. Absolutely recommended

Excellent food, traditional and revisited dishes. Freshly picked white truffle, with a delicious aroma. Fast service, particular environment, a mix of art and industrial style with these wonderful and very bright glass doors. A very nice place also for the beautiful outdoor space. Very nice waiters. It was all very pleasant.

Upon arrival the innkeeper welcomed us with warmth and friendliness, the place was truly unique, the food was up to par. If you pass through Canelli, stopping here is a must.

Hermoso pequeño patio interior lejos de cualquier ruido. Gran restaurante con platos sencillos pero de buen gusto y ensaladas servidas por las amigables chicas de servicio. Pequeño perro permitido añadido al placer de este agradable almuerzo.

Ho mangiato tajarin cacio e pepe, buoni ma un pò asciutti e come antipasto il tagliere di formaggi, davvero buono. Servizio cordiale. Prezzi nella media. Il nostro tavolo era nella sala al piano -1 senza finestre, sinceramente faceva molto caldo e mi dava un pò una sensazione claustrofobica, la prossima volta chiederò di stare nella sala principale.
