Brought my visiting family here on Monday night and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff really made us feel so welcome and were so friendly- speaking both Italian and English to us. The food was amazing. It was the highlight of the day! Will be back!

The best restaurant in the entire city center. The owner (Claudio) is very kind and friendly. They have all types of dishes, from Tuscan cuisine to more elaborate dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ☆☆☆☆☆

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. I was here three times in two days. You can never go wrong with anything you order. The menu is endless. The staff is attentive and welcoming. The owner/manager works just as hard as any other employee throughout the day. It’s great to see a family business doing so well off the beaten path for tourists. The lunch special is fantastic for €12. House wine is delicious. I will be back every time I come to Florence. I cannot recommend enough.

A jewel in Florence away from the turist radar with an extremely nice atmosphere. We good a piatto del giorno which was very well serve with wine included. The pizzaiolo gave small pasta portions to the kids' play and put them in the oven. The best price with the best meal experience in Florence :-)

Ci sono stata a pranzo con mia mamma e il mio ragazzo. Ci hanno offerto un menù del giorno con vasta scelta tra primo, secondo, vino e acqua tutto incluso per soli 15€ a persona. Volendo c’è anche il menù alla carta con varie opzioni. Per chi ama la Toscana si mangia tipico e la qualità è ottima. Ci tornerei assolutamente per provare altro.

Trattoria la Baracchina

11/07/2025: La Baracchina is a restaurant I always enjoy returning to in the summer. The temperature is always cool and the atmosphere is decidedly pleasant. The food is excellent, and I think the portions have become more generous compared to last year. The only area for improvement (in my opinion) would be the speed of service, which suffers when the restaurant is full, as it was for me. The wait isn't a problem for me, but it can be for some. The prices are slightly higher than average, but so is the quality of the food.
07/07/2025: What a great discovery, I can't wait to go back! We ate very well, the location is suggestive (thanks also to the storm that made everything more magical), smiling and friendly staff but above all the rosticciana test, passed!!!

06/07/2025: I went this evening with friends after a long time since I went because I'm from Milan I have to say that it is always a guarantee of excellent food and excellent staff.
30/06/2025: Highly recommended, excellent Tuscan food, super service and they have an incredible terrace.
