We found this osteria by chance. The welcome was excellent, the service was attentive and friendly, and what can we say about the cuisine? ORIGINAL! Truly a unique experience in Rome. This osteria is hidden away on a small street, and it's worth a visit for its authenticity! Excellent and recommended for gluten-free options and families! Don't waste your time with other touristy places! Come here! Kisses

Good, carefully prepared dishes, perhaps a little too flavorful. Attentive and precise service. The atmosphere is pleasant and refined. It's a shame the music is too loud.

I ate well with typical Roman dishes, especially the carbonara, prepared with the utmost care. My only comment, if I may, is this now-widespread trend of overly refined plating... in some places, one expects generous portions of simple dishes with plenty of seasoning. Nonetheless, I had a good time. Thank you.

I went there last night and was very satisfied. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the dining room is beautiful. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to try traditional Roman cuisine!

Esperienza perfetta. Titolare e staff gentilissimi e aperti a qualsiasi richiesta. Primo senza glutine cacio, pepe e tartufo sublime, mai mangiato una pasta senza glutine così buona fuori casa. Gentilissimi anche nei confronti della mia commensale che non conoscendo i carciofi alla Giudia e avendo quindi aspettative diverse non li ha graditi. Il ristorante, benché non fosse dovuto, ha cancellato dal conto finale il piatto. Grazie davvero per la non scontata cortesia.

13/11/2025: Hostaria Cannavota: Authentic Rome San Giovanni in Laterano, Saturday evening: we enter and are greeted by a wooden embrace, memories, and the scent of guanciale. A 1960s-style restaurant, rustic and lively, frequented by locals and the many VIPs in the photographs displayed, but everyone feels at home here. Our dinner: Explosive bucatini all'amatriciana, sweet tomato, crispy guanciale. Creamy spaghetti carbonara, obviously without cream, just pure tradition. Saltimbocca alla romana: tender, fragrant, and airy in the mouth. Long coffee, sparkling water. Total for two: €45. Adequate portions, top quality, friendly prices. Cheerful service, genuine smiles, warm bread right away. You leave full, happy, with Rome in your heart. Recommended for those who love authentic Roman cuisine.
04/11/2025: I unexpectedly got a bonus on a website (you can see it in the photo) and decided to treat myself to a nice dinner. The pasta turned out surprisingly good — rich sauce, perfectly cooked noodles.

09/11/2025: In a quiet area yet close to Termini Station, this restaurant is small and simple, yet welcoming. The menu focuses on meat dishes, including some of the most traditional and unmissable recipes. The Roman-style artichokes are incredibly tender and flavorful. The wine list is adequate, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Prices are average, not particularly affordable.
24/10/2025: Welcoming place, friendly staff, very good food, I recommend the broccoli and the carbonara
