A true osteria. Delicious food, authentic ingredients, and authentic people at work. As an Italian living abroad, I was longing for Campanian cuisine. And I can say I finally ate well here. Everything was delicious and nutritious. The house wine was medicine for the soul.
A must if you travel around here!

I went to Osteria dei Briganti with my wife for a surprise birthday celebration; a lunch for two after a long time in which, as new parents living away from home, we hadn't been able to enjoy such a moment together. It was exactly what I wanted, and I left knowing it was exactly what I wanted, and even better. Truly delicious food, a simple yet refined, family-friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent, kind and friendly, yet at the same time familiar. I had asked for two candles to be added to the cake, and they happily obliged. A place I would return to again and again because the passion behind the dishes is evident and tangible. Bravo!

Having returned from Grottaminarda, we wanted to try some of the typical cuisine of the Avellino area, and I must say we hit the nail on the head.
An Osteria with a capital O, it's like entering the owners' home, a rustic, warm, and welcoming place typical of the area.
The cuisine is nothing short of excellent, from the appetizers to all the dishes made with fresh local products, as well as the homemade pasta and desserts.
The kind and friendly owners make you feel at home, which is not always a given.
The prices are in line with the excellent product offered.
What can I say? I highly recommend it 😊👌

We left the highway to eat at Osteria dei Briganti. It was an exceptional experience, with very kind owners, a delicious appetizer, and the Scarpariello pasta was delicious! Highly recommended! We highly recommend it!

Antipasto ricchissimo e buonissimo, Aglianico della casa gradevolissimo, Scarparielli squisiti, come peraltro sottolineato da tutti gli altri recensori.
Ci preme però più di ogni altra cosa esaltare il garbato e non invadente affetto del titolare e del suo splendido figlio.
Si percepisce il cuore e l'amore che impiegano nel guidare l'attività.
Ci siamo capitati per caso e per non finire tristemente in un autogrill, ed è stata una straordinaria scoperta. Un vero piacere.
