Osteria degli Orti In Vallerano

Second time I come, first with another omnivorous diner who was very satisfied, second alone. Very welcoming environment, good selection of background music and not at unlikely volumes and really courteous staff. For the vegan choices, excellent puree of fava beans and sautéed chicory, chickpea and chestnut soup, artichoke in the space style... I finished with orange peel and chocolate prepared by them. Advise!

Very good food, welcoming service and very tasteful environment. Among us there was also a friend with celiac disease: they were very attentive and prepared, they had various dishes and desserts for her too!

Found by chance but a real culinary gem

After a visit to Vignanello and its castle (simply wonderful) we ate in this delightful hosteria in Vallerano. I won't dwell on it but I savored my mother's good cooking in every way. We will return to the area and be inebriated again by the flavors of the Hosteria... TOP value for money. Congratulations again.

Nice, rustic and welcoming restaurant that offers a rich menu. The staff is very kind but, at the end of the lunch, summing up, unfortunately I can't say I was completely satisfied. We started with some appetizers ordered when the place was still empty, unfortunately they arrived at different times, within about ten minutes. We took a baveuse omelette with black truffle sauce, very tasty and you could taste the truffle. A plate of chicken liver bruschetta, crunchy bread and tasty livers, a selection of Tuscia cheeses, fresh and very good but we didn't understand why they arrived to us without the tub of jam (I think it was jam), present in the same flat at other tables. We closed the starters with a millet, curry, courgette and soy pie... good. We moved on to the first courses, a plate of grandmother Vincenzina's fettuccine, seasoned with a tasty chicken liver ragù, very good... I recommend them. We closed the round of first courses with a plate of pici with black cabbage and pecorino cheese, good but, in my opinion, a normal dish. We wanted to have some coffee but it wasn't possible, from what the restaurateur said, he couldn't make coffee as all the burners were busy in the kitchen. Conclusion, we ate well, the restaurateur was very kind but the service, unfortunately, was lacking.

Tucked away treasure. Park and walk. Tiny one man show. So clean and sparkly. Fantastic food. Menu different everyday.

Abbiamo prenotato “a caso” per il pranzo di una domenica ed è stata un piacevolissima scoperta. Buon cibo ricercato e particolare, posto e servizio molto accogliente. Da ripetere!

Prenotato in anticipo in questa caratteristica osteria ,il menu sembrato interessante da subito non ha deluso le aspettative,cibo di alto livello,piacevole e impeccabile il servizio e l' accoglienza!!!Torneremo sicuramente grazie Emanuela
