You deserve 5 stars not only for the beautiful location, the friendliness, and the excellent food, but above all for the seasonality philosophy. That alone makes it absolutely worth it.
The quality/price ratio is excellent, and the ingredients are fresh and authentic. I recommend anyone passing by to stop and eat.

We stopped by this amazing restaurant and reached out to see if they had a table available. From the very beginning, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home in their beautiful and authentic restaurant.
We enjoyed three different appetizers, a delicious main course, dessert and their wonderful local wine. Super fresh and tasty. It turned into one of the most authentic and memorable dining experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended!

Excellent trattoria in the village, a pleasant stroll after lunch, and a must-see inside the church.
The owners and passionate chefs ate nervetti, vignarola, beef, port, ricotta with garlic flower, and desserts... everything was carefully explained and prepared. You can taste the passion for cooking, and it alone is worth the trip.
Praise for the availability of vegetarian options.
Coffee made with a moka pot and a fair price.

If "Paris is worth a Mass," then L'Osteria degli Orti is well worth a trip to Vallerano. Hidden among the magnificent alleys of the charming
historic center, this small Osteria stands out from the countless gastronomic offerings in the area—alas, rather repetitive—for its choice of local yet refined ingredients; traditional, yet never banal. I won't single out any of the dishes—masterfully prepared by Riccardo—that my wife and I were fortunate enough to savor, but I'll leave the discovery of the dishes on offer to those who wish to indulge in a true sensory experience. Thanks, Riccardo, see you soon.
P.S. Perhaps the marroni con liqueur deserve a special mention!

Impeccable. The place is almost intimate, cozy. The menu offers a wide variety, and everything we ordered (there were four of us) was carefully prepared with excellent ingredients. The dishes were truly appreciated. The desserts were sublime. The owner's hospitality is also a strong point: friendly, helpful, and always offering perfect advice. Excellent experience. We will repeat.

We visited Riccardo and Lucia yesterday for Sunday lunch after visiting Ruspoli Castle. The experience at their Osteria was fantastic, with their warm welcome complemented by exquisite, authentic cuisine, rich in tradition and wisdom. The meal concluded with a feast of desserts and a jovial display from Riccardo, who joined us in a boisterous party.
A special mention goes to the pork with blueberries: a success.
