Great food, very friendly staff, and, above all, off the beaten tourist track. Apart from us, only locals were there. Highly recommended. We were very glad we followed the advice of two locals.

The best! A characteristic little place in the center of Cremona where traditional cuisine marries innovation. The chef is very nice and very professional, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, Osteria degli Archi is an obligatory stop for anyone passing through Cremona.

We sat at the tables outside in the courtyard of the church in Piazza San Michele for lunch. Chef Manolo is clearly very passionate about the food he cooks, the origin of the ingredients and showing his patrons a good time. Chef Manolo walked us through every item in the menu, explaining where the ingredients are from and the motivation behind some of the dishes. The food, although simple, was absolutely amazing. The wines (by the glass) paired perfectly well with the dishes we had. Pro tip: Don’t skip dessert. The peaches poached in dessert wine with hazelnuts was out of this world!

L'arredamento è rustico, come ci si aspetterebbe in un'osteria, che abbiamo trovato pulita e lindo. L'oste è asciutto ma ospitale e spiega i particolari dei piatti tradizionali locali per chi non è del posto. Il personale è gentile e professionale. I piatti sono di ottima qualità ed abbondanti. Il servizio è veloce e puntuale. Ho trovato prezzi leggermente superiori all'atteso.

Ahora he comido aquí tres veces en el año y es negligente de mi parte que no he escrito una crítica para destacar la alta calidad consistente de los platos locales. El personal es atento y la ambulancia es muy relajante. Merece la pena visitarlo cuando esté en Cremona

23/07/2025: I love this restaurant; I've been going there for years and return whenever I can. The owner and her children are special people, with a warmth and kindness that's rare nowadays. The food is excellent, simple, without frills, but it brings back memories and traditions. The service is always super efficient and fast, and the atmosphere, in my opinion, is amazing. A historic venue in Casalmaggiore, which over time hasn't adapted to the new decor standards—all the same and lacking in personality—but has managed to maintain its authenticity and character. I always recommend this place to everyone; I celebrated my thirtieth birthday here and would do it again a hundred times over.
