Fantastic stop and where to find it! My favorite place when I pass through Tuscany. Convenient because it is close to the motorway toll booth. Wines for sale by the glass but the excellence can be found by climbing the stairs where the tavern begins. Excellent Tuscan tradition, slightly revisited in a modern key but always respecting tradition. The strong point is the steak, cooked to perfection! It's not enough to have excellent meat, you have to know how to cook it. Delights on the palate. Even the desserts are good. Praise also goes to the service, attentive and also good at finding the right solution. Stop at the Pope's. Top.

Osteria accogliente, personale gentilissimo e cibo fantastico. Dagli antipasti ai primi al peposo, qualità ottima. Abbiamo assaggiato vari primi, difficile consigliarne uno perché erano tutti eccezionali. Carne tenerissima, molto saporita. Il calice di rosé di benvenuto molto buono, ed è possibile acquistarlo a un prezzo davvero basso. Prezzi bassi e onesti soprattutto rispetto alla qualità del cibo! Eravamo un gruppo di 12 persone e ciononostante il servizio è stato impeccabile

Cosa dire se non che ho mangiato una tra le migliori carni mai provate, un filetto tenerissimo e gustosissimo a prezzi veramente bassi: complimenti vivissimi.
