Group lunch for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the service was excellent: the staff was very knowledgeable and patient, even showing kind attention to our two-year-old twins.
Being a group, we had the opportunity to order and share a wide variety of dishes, including appetizers and meat-based main courses, all truly excellent. I also chose a vegetarian first course, which was delicious. The portions were generous, and the quality of the cuisine was consistently high in every course.
I've lived in the area for a few years and, incredibly, I'd never been to this restaurant. Now that I've discovered it, I'll be back often!

Osteria De Medici welcomes you not just for a meal, but also to offer a sublime experience of Tuscan cuisine at its finest.
There's not much else to say other than that this is a must-see if you're passing through. It's definitely worth the drive off the highway for anyone still in doubt.

I had dinner here on Sunday evening.
The place is welcoming, the staff is kind and helpful.
I ordered the pici cacio e pepe with bacon as a first course.
Fantastic!
Fresh and authentic ingredients.
Then I ordered a platter, plus the fried and roasted potatoes.
Excellent!

What a discovery! From now on, every time I'm on the highway in that area, I'll make sure to hit lunchtime so I can stop for lunch. Everything is truly excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly. The option to purchase wine and oil adds an extra bonus to the review. I mean, a Bolgheri in barrels that you can buy at competitive prices... Congratulations, truly a lunch like I haven't had in a long time.
Reservations are almost mandatory if you don't want to wait for a table, and it's much appreciated.
