We had a wonderful evening for two at the Osteria de Cin. As a starter there was carpaccio with truffles – simply fantastic! My boyfriend then had a T-bone steak that was cooked to perfection and tasted great. I initially had pasta that wasn't quite to my taste - but the owner was incredibly attentive, immediately came over and offered me something different. The tortellini with tomato sauce that I got was really delicious! A loving host, great food and an all-round lovely evening. We'd love to come back!

Nice location. The food was good but a couple of dishes would need to be revisited. The nettle gnocchi with fish were a little too "strong" and the tempura cod didn't convince. Good cellar and excellent service.

Three stars because the food is very good but the prices are very high for certain dishes. 20 euros for a hollowed out and boiled round zucchini, filled with pan-fried zucchini and surrounded by zucchini cream, it's very expensive! Perfect service and very pretty place.

Very good dinner! Home cooking with a chef who is a real signature in the making. We particularly enjoyed the tatakis, the ravioli, the cheeses and the cheesecake (unfairly criticized in some comments, the concept is original and therefore surprising). The local wine list was also appreciable. The service is friendly and efficient, the wait between services at the gunshot is easily explained by the small team in the kitchen. The best is yet to come for this restaurant!

13/08/2025: We had lunch at this crotto on a Monday in August, after a short hike from Torno to Monte Piatto. A very pleasant place, with a moderately spacious interior and a terrace sheltered by a canopy, where we sat. We arrived early (before noon) and were the only customers for the entire meal. The menu, written on a blackboard (with accurate prices), offers: platters of cured meats and cheeses of various sizes, two or three first courses and the same number of second courses, vegetarian or vegan options available for all courses (and plenty of vegetables on the menu), and homemade desserts. We opted for a goat's cheese (a local product, like almost everything else they offer), seasoned with oil, pepper, and a few drops of balsamic vinegar, truly delicious; then polenta with chanterelles (picked in the nearby woods)—also excellent—and finally a chocolate cake with mint cream, equally good. We drank Pintalpina beers (produced in Valtellina and among our favorite craft beers), but of course wine is also available, as well as a refreshing organic green coffee and ginger herbal tea to round out the meal. The owners are kind, friendly, and welcoming; the service is courteous and prompt; the food is local, well-prepared, with generous portions and fair prices. I will return and highly recommend it.
01/08/2025: Super friendly! We passed by after the shop closed on a long hike, but they still served us food. We'd be happy to go back.

14/08/2025: We've been coming for several years now, and on various occasions we've invited friends who, in turn, have adopted it as their favorite restaurant. The menu offers both meat and seafood, with both classic and more creative dishes, as well as seasonal specials. Everything is always exquisite and carefully prepared. The hospitality and courtesy are never lacking. For us, it's truly a sure thing.
07/08/2025: It is very delightful, the food is amazing and the area is quiet. Also staff and manager are very friendly
