Typical Fraschetta. A cheerful and joyful atmosphere, where food and tradition take center stage. Superb appetizers, including spectacular porchetta, and helpful and friendly staff. The prices? Try it and believe it...10 out of 10.

We came a long way to visit one of the best fraschette in Ariccia. Very close to the center, you can book online, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere is typical of a fraschette—wooden tables all close together, paper tablecloths, and plastic plates—but be careful about the quality. We chose an appetizer with all the cured meats and cheeses, coppiette, porchetta, buffalo mozzarella, ricotta, and a few vegetables. The bread served at the table is fantastic. The rosemary focaccia, which accompanies the rest, is world-class. The counter with all the cured meats and cheeses is in the dining room, right in front of the tables. We then chose a carbonara, split between two, and the house red wine. This place is definitely worth a try. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is excellent, and the price is very reasonable. It's worth a visit.

The only downside is the waiting times.

This fraschetta is a sure thing! The place has expanded over the years but has retained its authenticity! The staff is friendly and efficient! If you want to eat something home-cooked, traditional, and experience the atmosphere of a true fraschetta, I recommend it!

Dar Vignarolo is a small restaurant in Arcidosso, spread across three floors. The decor is typical of similar establishments, and the tables are osteria-style. You sit at multi-person tables, similar to those used at village festivals. The place setting consists of a sheet of paper placed diagonally across the table (which therefore doesn't cover the entire table), and the cutlery is wrapped around at least a couple of paper napkins. Unfortunately, the evening was marred by a myriad of midges that fell from above and landed directly on the drinks and food. A large hornet was also found roaming freely throughout the room. Therefore, since this is a hygiene issue, the restaurant did not satisfy him. The food is as good as it is expensive. Suffice it to say that for two plates of pasta, two bruschettas, and two slices of prosciutto, loin, Milanese salami, spicy salami, and porchetta, plus a 33ml beer, we spent €55. Roughly speaking, given the nature of the place (a fraschetta or something like that) and the list of products served, the price should have been around half that. Then there's the issue of parking, which, in addition to being scarce in the area, is expensive, due to the Ariccina city government's fault, from 8 a.m. to midnight.

Ho voluto portare qui degli amici che non sono del posto e devo dire che sono stati veramente bene. Ho apprezzato che non tendono a farti ordinare in modo eccessivo solo per vendere. La ragazza ci ha consigliato le porzioni giuste per arrivare a goderci bene i primi. Antipasti caldi e freddi veramente buoni, e anche i primi meritavano. Il conto veramente onesto.

Premetto che la mia recensione si basa non solo su un pensiero personale, ma anche di confronto con altre fraschette della zona. Superlativi!!! Location con tavolini spartani, ma in grado di dare posto a chiunque. Una macchina da guerra. Cameriere simpatiche e cordiali, proprietario molto alla mano in grado di farti sentire a casa.... Cosa non scontata nei posti turistici. La carne viene cotta a vista e soprattutto ci tengono molto a farti assaggiare tutti i loro prodotti ed ecco perché fanno le "mezze" porzioni. . E qui viene il bello.... Le porzioni sono ESAGERATE e BUONISSIME!!! I prezzi veramente contenuti!!! Qui nella zona non ci sono concorrenti!!! Hanno posti interni ed anche esterni e per chi vuole trasmettono anche partite di calcio e altri sport. I prodotti sono di prima scelta ed i primi sono qualcosa di spettacolare. Non siamo di Roma, ma ogni volta che si sente parlare in tv che la cacio e pepe, e la carbonara qua sono diverse posso solo confermare che è così. Spero di aver detto tutto, ma credo solo che bisogna provare per credere e non posso che straconsigliarlo. Ah dimenticavo... I nostri amici a 4 zampe sono benvenuti.
