We found it by accident and were so happy ! The owner Nicola was so nice to us and even though we haven’t a reservation he made an effort and has found a table for us !
The food was amazing , the best pizza I had eaten for a long time ! We took a buffalina pizza and a plate of meat and cheese . The portions were generous and the choice of the meat and the cheese was great. The stuff is so friendly and speaks English . The vibe was so lively,a lot of young people and the gem is the location . They have free parking ,a lot of it .

All the dishes were absolutely delicious.
We were thrilled with everything from the appetizers to the main courses and dessert.
High quality and flavorful.
We've rarely eaten so well.

Simply unmissable!
I was here for lunch and had the horse steak. It was the best I've ever eaten.
Perfectly cooked (just as I requested), and most importantly, the meat melted in my mouth.
I then had a side of grilled vegetables, various and truly excellent. I think they were made fresh. There were also mushrooms, which I love, but unfortunately no one else serves.
All this was accompanied by excellent bread and breadsticks. I assume they made them.
The music that accompanied my lunch was also pleasant, since I was alone, but still really soft, which is a pleasure.
Another important thing, at least for me, is the free and easy parking.
In short, I recommend you try this osteria.

We had a wonderful dinner at Osteria dal Penna! The black dough pizza with cured beef was absolutely delicious — crispy on the outside and full of flavor. The pasta wasn’t mind-blowing but still very good, and the grilled meat with potatoes was perfectly cooked. The service was friendly, and the whole place had a warm, cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you love authentic Italian food! 🇮🇹✨

Pleasant place and excellent service. The food is top-notch. The food is definitely worth trying, along with the chef's explanations. If I ever come back to Desenzano, I'll definitely eat here again!

Excellent Osteria in Desenzano del Garda.
Their signature dish is the charcuterie board, accompanied by fried gnocco (also available charcoal-baked).
Refined yet simple dishes, with a good selection of both first and second courses. A wide selection of wines and beers is also available.
As for the staff, they're friendly and always available to answer any questions.

A very nice place, slightly outside of Desenzano's city center, with very friendly staff. Service was strained by a birthday party with about thirty people, which undoubtedly slowed things down. That said, everything was good, both the appetizer and the main courses—the burgers and the egg spaghetti with calamari and samphire. I'd like to return to try their pizzas, which looked very inviting. Recommended! P.S. I highly recommend making a reservation.
