Luglio, caldo, poca voglia di cucinare, figlia in visita… eccoci qua! Menù interessante, bella carta dei vini con anche produttori locali. Servizio curato e cordiale. Tre ricchi antipasti, tre secondi, una bottiglia di vino e acqua per 127€: corretto! Esperienza da ripetere. Consigliato!

My new point of reference in the valley for traditional cuisine and good drinks. Small tavern in the historic center, carefully furnished inside. The owner Teo welcomes guests with a smile, being ready to recommend the right bottle from his arsenal. The dishes are well prepared, the portions are generous and the combinations are spot on. Cold appetizers and incredible bunets, sometimes just one dish wasn't enough. A beautiful discovery that I will be happy to share with anyone who passes by here, I will gladly return from Veneto whenever possible.

Just like you read on their site. On the other hand, there could be no doubt about the excellence of this restaurant, if Giorgio's experience has anything to do with it, it could only be so. Yes, this Giorgio who had a delicatessen that offered dishes so excellent that on Saturdays I had to go and buy Russian salad from him to take to my mother-in-law in Chivasso. Why didn't they know how to make Russian salad in Chivasso? No no, his was simply the best. The same thing is probably happening with the restaurant... The best dishes in Sant'Ambrogio, perhaps in the Susa Valley, or in Piedmont? 🧐

Il locale si trova nel centro storico di Sant’Ambrogio (To) proprio sotto la Sacra di San Michele, davanti al locale una bellissima fontana storica in pietra. Bellissima accoglienza con aperitivo nel dehors, all’interno piacevoli decorazioni alle pareti Il menu è stato di grande qualità con antipasto della casa, ottimo vitello tonnato, carne di fassona battuta al coltello con crema al tartufo, lingua al verde, flan di spinaci ed è stato un inizio squisito. A seguire agnolotti di grande formato, con un sugo d’arrosto eccellente. Anche gli gnocchi al gorgonzola sono una prelibatezza. Il titolare ha spiegato che tutto viene prodotto in casa e la qualità alta si percepisce immediatamente con prodotti freschissimi e genuini. Veramente un posto dove ritornare molto presto….!
