What can I say: a stone's throw from home we have this pearl. It promises traditional Piedmontese dishes to which the name "Osteria" suggests that, in addition to being delicious, they are also well prepared.
Just like the food, the environment and the service are also taken care of.
Discovery of the evening: Baratuciat white wine, very local from Val di Susa!
Highly recommended!

Excellent dinner, welcoming place and friendly, qualified staff.
Dinner menu: house starter consisting of Fassona steak accompanied by a cheese sauce, Vitello Tonnato deliberately written with a capital letter (Delicious)
, leek flan with cream cheese simply excellent.
Two first courses: Ravioli made by the Chef, filled with unforgettable braised meat, handmade Troccoli with Japanese crab and surprisingly good cherry tomatoes.
Satisfied yes, but a little space for the desserts always made by the tavern: panna cotta with blueberry reduction and bunet with salted caramel.
Excellent choice of wines, plating of food also satisfies the eye that wants its part.
Affable owner and prices appropriate to the quality of the food.
Recommended tavern.

Having happened by chance during the Meliga Day festival, we had lunch as we hadn't had in a long time. The veal with tuna sauce, the agnolotti with roast sauce, the Nebbiolo braised meat on polenta and finally the bunet were a magnificent sequence of flavours. We are already planning to return

I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria dal Merlo, a restaurant located near Avigliana. I ordered the fassona steak with radicchio and gorgonzola and balsamic vinegar as a starter and the maltagliati with white ragù and saffron as a first course.
The Fassona steak was very tasty and well seasoned. The radicchio and gorgonzola were a great flavor combination. The maltagliati were al dente and the white ragù was delicate and tasty.
The service was very attentive and courteous. The room is very welcoming and well furnished.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent Piedmontese cuisine.
