We had a wonderful time. The staff was attentive. The dishes were delicious, starting with the appetizer, the delicious meatballs and prosciutto, and then we sampled two first courses. Truly exquisite dishes. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, and it's worth enjoying an authentic and genuine meal. We tried everything the friendly owner suggested. The portions were generous and generous, and the flavors were typical of the area.

The food is delicious and plentiful, homemade like only the best grandmothers can prepare. The only downside is the prices, which are very, very high.

We had a truly wonderful meal! The appetizer was huge and flavorful, the pasta excellent, the wine good, and everything was fresh. Generous portions and authentic flavor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel immediately at ease, almost like at home. A place where you eat well, have a great time, and want to return.

Eating at Cugino isn't just about enjoying local specialties; it's an experience. We arrived at 2:30 PM on an unassuming Friday and were greeted by a large, imposing man, Cesare, who immediately seated us and served us fresh water and bread. Being called "cousins" by a local restaurateur was fun, but being treated as such was truly incredible. We should have grabbed a quick bite on our way to Tropea, but the Calabrian hospitality prevailed, and we arose at 4:00 PM after appetizers, a first course, a second course, a side dish, dessert, coffee, and a liqueur. In a world of frenetic life, this little corner of paradise brought us back to tranquility and the pleasure of enjoying a meal, with the cool breeze and local passersby greeting other diners seated at the outdoor tables. Cesare is a lover of cooking "the way it used to be," with kind and helpful manners, never lacking in professionalism and friendliness, and accommodating our every request. The food was superb, we'll return to Calabria just to have lunch with our new cousin! Thank you and see you soon!

This place is a reference for hospitality. No menu, no frills. Cesare will provide the suggestions of the day and you do good to follow. Food IMHO is not spectacular, but genuine. Bottle of home made wine is already on the table. The local Amaro is the cherry on top. You don‘t ask for the price and will be positively surprised on the decency of the final bill. Gracie Mille!
