A cozy trattoria in the heart of Trastevere. Meals were authentic and tasty.

Authentic and delicious. This place is very popular, so be prepared. There is a line before they even open. But if you get in, you are in for a treat! We tried three different pastas and they were all outstanding! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in Rome.

Frankly, as a Romano, I didn't expect a place with such authentic and genuine *Roman* cuisine in such a touristy place, and when our friends suggested it to us we were speechless. But we had to change our minds: the best Roman-style courgette flowers we've ever eaten, and fried without leaving any greasy residue on the bread paper. Excellent first courses (all of them) and meatballs that even my mother - a great cook - would have dreamed of! The only flaw, the artichokes alla giudia, that any Giudio (Roman Jew) would have been ashamed to look at. Good in taste, yes, but unwatchable. In their excuse, it's the end of the season, and certainly the "romaneschi" are no more. Prices are, let's say, acceptable, considering the location, even if, of course, from this point of view it can't really be considered a "trattoria". Anyway, overall, a substantially positive opinion
