One of the best taverns in Rome. I highly recommend if you want to eat typical Roman cuisine. All the dishes were delicious and the waiters and owner are super kind. Excellent price quality. We ate some of the best courgette flowers we've ever eaten, ditto chicory. As a first course I ate an amazing carbonara, all accompanied by the excellent house wine. The dishes are very generous and really well cooked. To finish I also recommend the tiramisu, made by yourself and it's crazy. Super honest account. Super recommended, I will definitely return. Another super positive and not obvious point, I forgot my Apple Watch there and they very kindly kept it aside for me. Super kind indeed!

Friendly, helpful and honest, an excellent point of reference for Roman cuisine, with typical dishes cooked ad hoc in an amazingly beautiful area! Great 👏🏻

The charming waiters, the very pleasant atmosphere with music and spectacular food, I recommend the carbonara and the puntarelle as a starter.

Recommended by a Roman friend, the carbonara (I specifically wanted to try it) was excellently cooked. The only flaw, it seemed to me that the waiter was a little too insistent, almost with a mocking smile (he was teasing me) until we ordered more than we should have and what he wanted... I didn't want to take the wine on purpose and not because I was a teetotaler. Many times taking a step back towards the tourist is worth it (not everyone likes to be made fun of). Having said that, I was pleased to see the place full of Romans.

25/01/2025: After a further visit I confirm all that has been said and indeed I would add, if it were possible, another star! You can tell I'm Roman, eh!?
17/01/2025: Many things on the menu were not available, so much so that I had to change my choice several times. Polenta with almost no ribs and anonymous seasoning. Abbacchio, however, was very good.

16/12/2024: Very good ice cream, some of them with a very distinctive flavour. Ever heard of chocolate and wasabi ice cream? You’ll find it here. Or ice cream containing ginger or horseradish? You’ll find it here. You’ll find the more classic flavours as well. Definitely recommended!
