I wanna say my experience at Umberto was spectacular but I can't. First of all the waiter was very rude to us when we ordered side salads and broccoli. He told us adamantly to not mix the sides with the pasta. Which btw we had no intention on doing. To top it all off the carbonara I ordered the egg was curdling!!! At first I thought it may have been the cheese topping but as I kept eating I saw many white eggs. If you are so adamant about doing things the right way, how can you serve a curdled carbonara. No excuses. Luckily with the group I was with the other dishes were good. The artichoke, buccatini and Fragnacce was very good and no complaints. But like I said previously if you are going to be so snobby about how things are done. I expect a carbonara to be cooked correctly. I do want to mention the other staff was very nice! I would give this a higher rating if our waiter wasnt so rude!

I recommend this place! The drinks was tasty, and the stuff, Puspeta and Ismail were nice and helpful. The restaurant is lovely ❤️

A fantastic lunch in the sun, with fast service and friendly, helpful staff. We had both a first and second course, and both were excellent. A glass of coffee to finish, definitely a 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Great food. The service was quite nice. The cacio e pepe was creamy and very cheesy. The view if you sit outside is incredible. I recommend this place great food great people. Thanks a lot for the experience.!!!🙏🙏🙏

Best AR sauce meatballs in Rome!

Very pleasant restaurant. Well-prepared food, welcoming atmosphere. Nothing dazzling or memorable, but they won't disappoint.

My sister and I ate here for lunch today. Our Airbnb host recommended this place, and we were thrilled! We were seated right inside. The servers were very friendly. We had artichoke as a starter, and it was delicious. For our main courses, my sister had a veal escalope with ham, and I had meatballs. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. And our server spoke a little French, which was really helpful! We ordered a carafe of red wine, which was very good. And you absolutely must try the tiramisu; it's incredible!!! The decor is fantastic, and the service is super fast. The restaurant is ideally located in the heart of Trastevere. I highly recommend it. And the price is very reasonable.

Wonderful experience. Welcoming place, and highly recommended Roman food. I would have preferred the spaghetti carbonara a little more al dente, but the lamb chops were truly excellent, as were the puntarelle. Mattia, Vanni, and Umberto were kind and friendly. My compliments to them; you made me feel at ease. The young, efficient, and friendly staff.
