The atmosphere is quiet and the food is good. The dishes are not very generous.

Very good restaurant on the beach with a view of the sunset. Friendly staff who are accommodating and correct minor errors. Highly recommended and would gladly return.

My first experience, and I found this place by reading the various reviews for "seafood restaurants in my area." I was intrigued by the various reviews and praise I'd read from previous diners, so why not give it a try?! It's a very pretty location in the marina of the same name in my city. Not finding any further information on the Osteria's website, I booked regardless. The wait staff was very kind and cheerful, bringing her appetizers and our first courses just a few minutes after ordering (after all, we'd arrived early and before the restaurant opened). The first courses were a surprise, very flavorful and different from other Osterias/Restaurants I've tried in the area, simply because the dish is the same. The freshness of the ingredients is noticeable and lingers on the palate, with an alternating sweetness and citrus acidity that intrigued and delighted me (rice, shrimp, citrus, and stracchino). The spaghetti allo scoglio was very well received, and my father didn't object or even say a word (so, knowing him, it was greatly appreciated!!). When he mentioned other restaurants for comparison, while enjoying the dish, he nodded that it was the best he'd tried (he always orders spaghetti allo scoglio ;) The only downside was the second course: the two different dishes didn't arrive at the same time, and the fried fish was a bit late compared to the tuna steak (obviously, it's a priority for the dishes to arrive at the same time for everyone). The tuna steak was the best I've ever tasted, and it's incomparable to the previous ones from other restaurants; this one is on a whole other level (superior), and we'll certainly be back to try other dishes on the menu. I forgot about the Chef's Fried Fish, which was also very well received (even more so), and the waitress's advice to add anchovies was spot on. Fried food is definitely worth trying (for me). Prices are average for the fish menu.

Everything was delicious, and the view was wonderful. I only have one small complaint: the caramelized octopus was very good, but the portion was really small for the price.

The atmosphere was very nice, but the food wasn't so much. The terrace overlooking the sea was very charming, and the staff were friendly, although the service was very slow. The food was poorly balanced and the ingredients were of poor quality. We ordered seafood pasta, which turned out to be pasta and mussels (not even fresh), and a shrimp and citrus risotto (which was average). For starters, we had a shellfish soup, half of which were closed and the other half tasteless.

I'm happy to visit this restaurant when I'm craving a seafood dinner in Marina di Pisa. The menu is well-conceived, and the quality of the fish is excellent. The boneless cacciucco is particularly popular. The service is prompt and professional. A serious restaurant in Marina di Pisa that, year after year, maintains its high-quality offerings without compromising on standards. The quality/price ratio is reasonable. Worth a try.

A delicious, high-quality seafood restaurant (and more). We had dinner here and it was wonderful. The restaurant is on the waterfront, and the service was excellent, as were the prices. The spaghetti with clams and the fried fish are highly recommended!
