I have been to this restaurant twice for dinner. What can I say? Like eating at the home of a Salentino who honors his land with excellent cuisine, typical, home-made and genuine. Exquisite!
If you go to Salento you cannot miss the opportunity to have dinner or lunch at Roberto's.

We had already been here three years ago and I must say that the quality has remained as we remembered it. The place with the tables outside is welcoming, the staff friendly. The typical Salento food is really good and you can feel the quality. We were impressed by the bruschetta, ciciri e tria and the exquisite horse meatballs. Super recommended

Passing through Nardò, we came across Roberto's tavern, and we were pleasantly surprised!
As an Apulian I can guarantee that the type of cuisine is 100% homemade, simple and of high quality. The Sagne were delicious, as were the orecchiette and the aubergine meatballs - being vegetarian 🍆 the semifreddo was also excellent. The family that runs the tavern is kind and helpful, the prices are correct and it will certainly be a pleasure to return! Highly recommended ✨ (ask for tables outside and it's best to book!)

Really excellent. I come on holiday here every year and at least once every year I come to eat here, typical and truly excellent dishes, at first sight they may seem like simple dishes but every dish on the menu is an explosion of flavors on the palate, truly highly recommended for those who want try typical dishes prepared properly

Exceptional traditional Salento cuisine.
We took potato panzerotti, ciceri and tria, turnips, meatballs and pieces of horse meat in sauce, all excellent!!
the horse meat was very tender.
The almond and San Marzano fig spumone ended on a high note.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommended!

Simple menu, quite varied. We had an orecchiette with turnip tops for two and the portion was generous and the handmade pasta was very good.
Followed by horse meatballs in sauce and fried, a little too seasoned, but good. Homemade potatoes (fried) done well.
Some prices are expensive for no reason... like salad €8... but the rest is excellent value for money. We spent €41 which is honest and below the average for the place.

Osteria con tavoli all'esterno abbastanza tranquilla. Alcuni piatti tipici sono da ordinare in anticipo perchè richiedono preparazioni lunghe. Abbiamo apprezzato ciò che era disponibile, tra cui alcuni ottimi antipasti. Acciughe marinate, polpette di melanzane, il panzerotto di patata e un paio di verdure spontanee di cui non ricordo il nome, davvero eccezionali. Anche il polipo fritto piuttosto gustoso e molto buone le polpette di cavallo. Un discreto rosato sfuso come accompagnamento.

Piccola osteria con pochi tavoli all’aperto dietro la piazza centrale di Nardo’. Piatti salentini eccellenti parmigiana di melanzane, polpette di melanzane, fave e cicoria, ciceri e tria. Tutti accompagnato da un ottimo primitivo sfuso della casa. Ottimo prezzo 50€ in 2
