I had lunch at this restaurant and I had a great time. Excellent and well-cooked food, I also tried typical Salento dishes. Attentive service and available to our every request. Prices in line with the norm. To return. I recommend it.

We had dinner at the Osteria da Roberto in Nardò and were very satisfied! The food is really excellent, with refined dishes and authentic flavours. The orecchiette in particular were exceptional, really worth trying! The portions are normal; perhaps slightly more abundant would have been perfect, but the quality and goodness of the dishes more than make up for it. An inn with full 5 stars, highly recommended!

Absolutely recommended!
A rustic and very clean place.
The traditional dishes are good and full of flavour, the right portions: you will leave satisfied!
We recommend trying the fried aubergine meatballs, the "pipiri" (really excellent and unusual local spontaneous vegetables) and, as a first course, the Sagne 'ncannulate, both with the sauce and strong ricotta, and with the orecchiette seasoning (very fresh and tasty pasta).
For dessert, the excellent artisanal almond and fig spumone is not to be missed.
The prices are perhaps a little high if you consider that it is a tavern, but they are totally justified by the care and attention of the owners and, in the end, they are in line with the general increases. Absolutely recommended!

Osteria da Roberto is the quintessential osteria. True home cooking with delicious dishes and friendly owners. Whether dining outside in the summer, or in their cozy internal dining room, Osteria da Roberto is the perfect spot for authentic local cuisine with a focus on flavor and simplicity. The Aglio, olio, peperoncino is so delicious, as was the polpettone in sauce. Even the spaghetti with tomato sauce is unbelievable! A true local gem in Nardò.

Descubrimos esta ostería en una tarde lluviosa de diciembre, escondida en una calle lateral. El propietario, presumiblemente Roberto, estaba charlando con un amigo y le pregunté si la ostería estaba abierta (parecía que no). Fuimos recibidos dentro, las luces se encendieron, las mesas se apartaron y el horno se encendió. Todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí, éramos los únicos clientes, y nos trataron bien y servimos buena, honesta, comida casera Puglese.
Compartimos una ensalada verde enorme y fresca, con cohete, alcaparras, tomates, queso local y achicoria de invierno, un vegetal nuevo para mí, pero que luego se vio en todos lados en los mercados y en camiones estacionados junto a la carretera. Pedimos platos principales separados y compartidos, pero ambos tenían un sabor bastante similar: un parmesano de berenjena y otro plato de tomate en capas. No eran excepcionales, pero eran auténticos y llenos. Con esto, compartimos una jarra de vino tinto. El café vino con un par de galletas de almendra locales, que son agradables, pero esperábamos un postre más sustancial e interesante.
En general, la comida era comida local sólida y el servicio amable y atento, pero no intrusivo. El comedor es un poco oscuro y algo sombrío, pero tal vez en temporada alta turística, se convierte en un refugio fresco del calor.
