The food was ok. The atmosphere was nice. Service was okay. The value for money could be better.
We left Gallopoli because it was too touristy and arrived in Nardo (a magnificent square) and at this restaurant.
The food is typical and very well prepared. The spaghetti with olive oil, garlic, and chili was excellent. We didn't regret our choice.
€68 for 2 with 1/2 liter white wine and desserts (delicious spulmone with the local liqueur).
A very pleasant little alleyway with no people.

This restaurant is definitely for foreign tourists....normal food with decidedly high prices...not up to par...a word of advice only if you have good teeth...to be avoided...the 3 stars should be given for the hospitality.....!!

Exceptional place.
A few items on the menu as it should be, traditional Apulian cuisine cooked to perfection. Not to mention that they didn't have any seats, so they gave me an extra table so I could eat. Go with your eyes closed.

Hard to find a more authentic Italian osteria around here. Excellent food and a perfect backyard atmosphere!

Here you can find everything you'd expect from a traditional Apulian osteria.
The first courses are excellent; I recommend the classic orecchiette with turnip greens.
The wild herbs are very special, especially the paparina.
The service is fast and friendly.
If you're in Nardò, I recommend dining here.
Excellent value for money.

A cuisine from another era, like being invited to dinner with family. The owners are extremely helpful and kind, the portions are generous, and the flavors are authentic, as per tradition. A special mention goes to the wild vegetables (we tried those grown from the poppy plant) and the homemade pasta dishes. The prices are more than fair; we'll definitely be back on our next vacation!
