We were staying at a hotel nearby and after some Google searches, we decided on da Roberta. It was a good choice.
What appealed was the Pinsa Romana. It's an oval shaped pizza-like food but it is different. Roberta is a certified maker of them. Wife and I spilt one and really enjoyed it. The crust is amazing and the variety of toppings is diverse.
We then finished with Salento peninsula pasta with a wonderful creamy tomato sauce.
Paired with a quaffable regional red wine and you have a fine repast.

It was my first time being kicked out, and I couldn't finish my meal. The pinsa was delicious, crispy, and the appetizers were excellent. The place was quiet and very welcoming. Kudos to the chef, she managed to knock me out.
I have to say that anduia isn't for everyone. You can eat it slowly until it starts to take effect, then when it explodes, it feels like a ring of fire inside you and you don't know how to go on. If I could give it a 10, I would.

We already had dinner but came across this little gem. We had to have a pinse for desert!!!

An Experience to Remember
I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria da Roberta and I must say that it was a truly pleasant experience in every respect.
I ordered the Pinza Romana, which literally won me over: the base was crunchy but light, well leavened, with a perfect balance between texture and flavour. The ingredients were very fresh and of excellent quality, chosen with care, and you could really feel the difference. It is rare to find such well made pliers outside of Rome!
The highlight of the evening, besides the food, was Irene's impeccable service. Since our arrival he welcomed us with a big smile and an availability that today, unfortunately, is not easily found. Irene is a true professional, capable of immediately putting customers at ease with her natural friendliness and in-depth knowledge of the menu. He was able to advise us with passion and attention, making the dinner even more pleasant.
I have to be honest: I had read some bad reviews before going, but my experience was completely different. I didn't find anything that was criticized. Indeed, I found a well-kept place, with well-prepared dishes and a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. It is clear that there is dedication and love for cooking and hospitality.
I highly recommend this tavern to those looking for a true culinary experience, seasoned with human warmth and excellent food. I will definitely be back!

We truly feel at home here. You can feel the warmth of the family both from the owner Roberta and from the waitress Irene. Super exquisite people like the delicacies we taste every time.
