Anyone who comes to this place cannot fail to appreciate the owner's seraphic personality. He welcomes you jovially at the table, then offering his fixed menu but open to variations. A simple and intimate place, it often happens that you chat with the people at the nearby tables. The quality of the products is unquestionable. It is a point of reference above all for tasting cod. I recommend the cod carpaccio.

The current state of the art for cod-based proposals, excellent cellar and the morsels at the end of dinner are delicacies Well done Peppone, I've been there several times with friends and family, never disappointed

We went today with a small group of friends, and we were all more than satisfied, the cod cooked in many ways, all EXCEPTIONAL, super exquisite appetizers, the first course equally good and then the famous Frentani bocconotti, all exceptional, I recommend it, impeccable service!

All good, service ok, but the place could use a refresh

Osteria da Peppone in Castel Frentano is renowned for its traditional cuisine, with particular attention to cod, present in over 40 recipes. Use fresh and local ingredients, respecting seasonality. I was able to appreciate the family atmosphere and the friendly service, with cod-based dishes such as spaghetti, carpaccio, meatballs, baked cod, roasted cod with peppers very popular. And to ask for the meal, artisan bocconotti and limoncello and gentian liqueurs. I found the place very small and cramped, completely full of diners and the place impregnated with the smells of the kitchen which also impregnated my clothes, by virtue of all this the price paid seemed a little too much to me.
