Small tavern/restaurant in Castelfrentano in the province of Chieti. Exclusively all dishes based on cod. In fact the owners call it: Percorso Baccalà. FABULOUS I KNOW. Abundant dishes and cooked divinely by the owner: Mr. Peppone. The wife takes care of the room. Husband and wife very pleasant people. It is always better to book as the room is small max: 30/35 seats. There is no parking but parking along the main road. Excellent price for the quantity and quality. At the end of lunch: bocconotto (typical dessert of the country) accompanied by Ratafià liqueur (made by the wife) and gentian made by the husband. A spectacle. Worth it Worth it Worth it !!!!!

Visited during vacation with my family. Renowned for its delicious cod, I also found other delicious dishes. Scampi were exceptional. The pan-fried clams are a must-try when booking. If, like us, you're lucky enough to try them, you'll be delighted. Highly recommended!

What can I say about this Osteria? We enjoyed an amazing cod menu, from the appetizer onward... truly top-notch. The owners are kind and friendly.

07/09/2025: Everything was excellent. From the welcoming staff to the delicious and generous portions. The back terrace (practically overlooking the sea) is top notch. Excellent value. On my way back from Salento at lunchtime, I stopped by chance. It will definitely be a go-to place for future trips.

12/09/2025: Authentic trattoria, where we ate AMAZING arrosticini! Also excellent were the cacio e ovo balls, the ravioli with ventricina, the cured meats and cheeses appetizer, and the pasta with lamb sauce. Very friendly staff, excellent prices. Children's playground, large garden, outdoor seating, and an indoor dining room.
29/08/2025: A lovely country restaurant with a lake for sport fishing. We went without a reservation and were seated inside. We ordered arrosticini, two traditional first courses, and a pizza. Everything was delicious. Very fair prices.
