Well done Peppone, this time you outdid yourself, everything was excellent especially the second courses from the cod with crusco peppers to the battered cod and the meatballs, congratulations.

Excellent in every way. The waiter was fast, polite, precise, and very good. He made us feel like longtime customers. The food was excellent, you can tell they use high-quality products. The wine was excellent value for money. At the end of the evening, the legendary Peppone came out of the kitchen to make fun of a small problem we had caused by spilling some wine at the table. Not much appreciated. That's fine, because he's truly a great chef. I'll definitely be back. It's definitely worth traveling so many miles.

Small tavern/trattoria in Castelfrentano in the province of Chieti. Exclusively all cod-based dishes. In fact, the owners call it: Percorso Baccalà (Baccalà Path). I KNOW IT'S FABULOUS. Generous dishes, divinely cooked by the owner: Mr. Peppone. His wife takes care of the dining room. A husband and wife team, very pleasant people. It's always best to book as the dining room is small: max 30/35 seats. There is no parking but parking is available along the main road. Excellent price for the quantity and quality. At the end of lunch: bocconotto (a typical local dessert) accompanied by Ratafià liqueur (made by the wife) and gentian made by the husband. A spectacle. Worth it, deserve it, deserve it!!!!!
