Good food with interesting daily specials that are more like a restaurant than an osteria; generous portions and very fair prices. Service could be a little more attentive; some dishes arrived minutes apart from others, and one waitress was a bit unfamiliar with the ingredients in one dish.

I only had an aperitivo, but I have to say the place is beautiful, right on the banks of the Sile River, with a large outdoor space and riverside tables. I'm curious to stop by for lunch sometime.

For lunch, the fixed-price menu is decidedly different from the local trattorias, including the seafood menu. The local cuisine is very good and flavorful. The restaurant's location is also excellent, on a quiet, closed-off road near the Sile River.

This month's specials are very popular. Delicious spaghetti alla chitarra with anchovies and agretti, and caserecce with mantis shrimp. Excellent fried fish. Well done!!! We'll be back soon!

By now, aperitivo at Nea has become a regular occurrence, a staple. But I also enjoyed dinner; the shrimp in puff pastry on radicchio cream was top-notch! Thanks also to Walter, who paired me with a sparkling wine from a local grape I'd never tasted before.

When we arrived for lunch, they didn't welcome us into the dining room even though there were seats available. We sat in the outdoor area, where they only offer "osteria service." We were told that fried food wasn't available, or perhaps there was only a small portion left. They brought us mixed cicchetti, nothing special—french fries, a few completely cold fried calamari, and undrinkable Galera wine. The staff was rude and inflexible, incapable of accommodating customers. The actual fried food was brought to those who arrived for aperitivo after us, with different service and attention. The same thing happened to us months ago. Therefore, we won't be returning, for consistency's sake. Not even a shred of memory remains of what this place used to be.
