Small but excellent tavern in San Donà di Piave.
The place is very welcoming and the decor is characteristic. There are few seats available, so I recommend booking well in advance.
The menu is very simple and consists of traditional appetizers and meat main courses, with seasonal side dishes.
Their signature dish is the Fassona steak, which they serve with various combinations. The quality of the meat is very high.
All the dishes are expertly prepared. The portions are very generous. The desserts are excellent.
The service is courteous and attentive. When the place is at full capacity, the wait can be long, but it's worth it!
The prices of the dishes are truly competitive.

Sometimes you just choose something because you're in the area and hungry. And you end up finding a real gem.
The place was full with locals and we managed to get the one table left.
Amazing and solid local food and wine.
If I am back in the area again I will definitely seek this one out!

Historic place with traditional Venetian food. A la carte menus but also menus proposed by the staff are a good opportunity to try all the various proposals. I recommend always booking as it is a small place and it fills up very easily. Excellent for those who want a taste of Venetian tradition made with love and as it once was.

Il nome rappresenta questo posto per l’ aspetto e forse per la storia che ha ( che non conosco), al di la’ del posto tipico e spartano, si nota una ricerca su vini e piatti del territorio e una cura da parte delle “ragazze” nella gestione del cliente, professionalita’ e gentilezza.
La cucina onesta e schietta, affettati e antipasti di qualità , angus eccellente, dolci fatti in casa per una grande chiisura di serata.

Innanzitutto consiglio di prenotare visti i posti limitati. Io ho preso una buona tagliata con olive taggiasche e verdure grigliate di contorno. Un calice di merlot ed una bottiglia di acqua ad accompagnare. Come dolce ho preso un tiramisù, molto buono e fatto in casa. Conto con caffè e grappa 30 €.
