It's a place I know well. Never a complaint from customers. With my job as a taxi I often go there and take tourists who visit Caserta. Many stay in hotels and ask me where they can eat well.

Excellent service and TOP quality. In Caserta it is probably impossible to find better in terms of typical and traditional cuisine of the area. Furthermore, the owners put passion and love into what they do and the results are visible. We will certainly return several times! It's now my trusted tavern! ❤️

After visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta we headed to the city center to have lunch and taste some typical dishes. Attracted by the positive reviews we chose to eat in this restaurant. Abundant and very good dishes, attentive and welcoming service, excellent prices.

Osteria da Miduccia was a wonderful discovery, a true culinary journey to the heart of Caserta. This typical restaurant offers authentic and generous cuisine, in a warm and magnificently decorated setting. It was by chance that my girlfriend came across this address, while we were looking for a very specific dish that was not always easy to find: pasta, potato and provola. We were very lucky to be able to have lunch there, despite our late arrival and a restaurant that was already full. Luckily the staff were lovely and found us a table after two customers left. As soon as we entered, we were seduced by the friendly atmosphere and the decoration with Neapolitan accents. Every detail is taken care of, and the atmosphere is both authentic and welcoming. A Neapolitan Feast The menu is incredibly rich, you would have to come several times to taste everything! To start, we shared an involtini di melanzane and bruschette with ragù della nonna. - The involtini di melanzane was perfectly made: a breaded and tender eggplant, garnished with a flowing mozzarella, all enhanced by a tasty ragù and parmesan. - But the real revelation was the ragù bruschette. A pure delight! The ragù, simmered to perfection, had an incredible depth of flavor. Combined with the wonderfully toasted bread, lightly soaked in olive oil and seasoned with garlic, it was a real favorite. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! We then tasted the famous pasta, potato e provola, which proved to be an explosion of flavors. The combination of pasta, potatoes and melted provola was simply perfect. It felt like every ingredient was freshly prepared, which provided exceptional texture and taste. We also tasted a pasta alle vongole, cooked with great skill. The pasta, very al dente, was accompanied by small yellow cherry tomatoes which added a touch of freshness and color, while the vongole, delicately flavored, brought all their intensity. A Beautiful Finale To conclude this feast, we fell for a tiramisù, accompanied by an Estathé. And to top it off, the staff offered us a limoncello and an amaretto, served in magnificent little bottles, like the rest of the dishes: elegant and refined. The service was impeccable, with servers who were professional, attentive and very kind. An address to absolutely try! Osteria da Miduccia offered us an unforgettable moment, a total immersion in Neapolitan cuisine. I recommend this culinary gem a thousand times and will not fail to return!

A superlative tavern in the center of Caserta. The guest is warmly welcomed by expert and extremely kind staff and owners who combine hospitality with textbook friendliness. The menu, explained in great detail by the hosts, tells of typical, home-made cuisine, all of the local tradition. Even the wine 🍷 is of excellent quality. Relatively cheap compared to the quality. Definitely worth returning!
