If you are wondering where the locals eat and what they do, this is the restaurant with an incredibly sweet and warm atmosphere that you should definitely visit. Don't forget to taste the artichoke while you're there. The waiters are very attentive and there are also live musicians inside 😁🎉 it wasn't very full but you should still make a reservation before you go.

Tourist place, normal traditional Roman dishes at exaggerated prices, very folkloristic place, the real matriciana is something else, the real Romans eat better.

Traditional Roman restaurant in the heart of Trastevere. Excellent cuisine offering traditional dishes. Quick service and friendly waiters. Absolutely recommended.

We ate here as part of tour of Rome, so I cannot attest to the actual cost for dinner, although our price per person was high in comparison to other venues where we ate while in Italy. That being said, we did enjoy a five course meal, with unlimited wine, which we would not have done had we been eating privately.
The entertainment was just that....lots of performing for the audience, and we did enjoy the experience.
The food was excellent. We had brushetta, salad, choice of pasta, choice of main course, and dessert. All local specialities.
We sat outside, but there was a lovely inside seating area, probably more for non-tour groups.
Overall, it was a great experience in a lovely, safe to walk, location.

Si trova a trastevere , siamo capitati per caso preso dalla fame dopo un giro al mercato delle pulci , offre piatti tipici della cucina romana , ho preso carbonara , molto salata , e pasta cacio e pepe , non male ma ne ho mangiato di meglio , di secondo saltimbocca, le patate erano squisite , la carne un po’ dura ma mangiabile. Prezzi onesti nella norma.
