Mauretto, a friendly person, welcomed us very well, excellent service, exceptional dishes, enjoyable house wine, his son Nicola at the cash register, a very good person always attentive to our every request, we will definitely be back, thank you for everything.

The fettuccine are handmade and served directly from the pan. A big flaw was that they were not mixed at all. The cold potatoes dish 🥔 ditto. The meat and cooking were good, the appetizers were excellent, especially the scamorza with a good prosciutto crudo and truffle. The sweet red homemade wine was very popular with the women.

I had a wonderful meal on Sunday with my family at an osteria with excellent service. The owner was very helpful and let us try all their dishes. The porcini mushrooms were delicious and the meat was tender. We were happy and will be back. Thanks to Mauretto for his hospitality.

I went to this osteria last night with my partner and we had a great time. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly, and the food was excellent and plentiful. I wish there were more osterias like this around! I'm sorry I didn't take photos, but we all ate there 😅 The value for money is excellent!

Sin dalla prenotazione telefonica, avevamo capito ciò che ci aspettava. Il proprietario, molto gentile, ci ha saputo consigliare su cosa ordinare. Buoni i primi ciociari e buone le tagliate.

Visita ad Isola Liri amici originari del posto ci consigliano questo ristorante di vera cucina ciociara. All interno dei vicoli vicino alla cascata grande. Ha tavoli fuori ma essendo un pochino attufato ed essendo una Domenica (6 luglio) con 38 gradi fuori optiamo per l interno ottimamente climatizzato. All interno sembra di stare in una grotta e rende il tutto ancora più caratteristico. Per antipasto prendiamo cozze ( non proprio ciociare ma veramente buone con pezzi di pane affogate nella salsa) e prosciutto del posto e formaggi locali buoni entrambi. Io per primo mi butto sulle pappardelle al cinghiale: il mio scetticismo di vederle rosse durano il tempo di un assaggio: eccellenti tanto sugo con piatto pulito dall immancabile scarpetta. Discreta porzione. Mia moglie finì fini ai porcini e tartufo con 3 euro in più a scaglie. Assaggiate buone buone. Mia figlia pappardelle in bianco divorate (e non è scontato) mio figlio frittura di pesce a suo dire ottima. Non preso vino pagato 85 euro coperto compreso. Un pochino sopra la media del posto ma tutto sommato corretto. Ricevuta emessa. Servizio adeguato e soprattutto gentile per averci trovato il posto senza prenotazione. Tempi un pochino lunghi ma il locale era zeppo. Piccola pecca i piatti usciti con tempi diversi denota un pochino di disorganizzazione. Vera cucina ciociara consigliato.
