We found this Osteria by chance while walking, and the menu beckoned us. We were glad we did because we enjoyed it. We had bruschetta al pomodoro to start and pasta afterward. What a delight!!! I don't understand some of the reviews because everything was truly perfect. The service is impeccable, and the establishment is very clean. The dishes are tasty and well-prepared. We received good wine recommendations. The setting is superb, in a small, somewhat private square frequented by regulars. The only downside is that I couldn't have dessert because the portions are generous. I also noticed that they have a winter dining room, so they're open year-round, not just during the tourist season. I recommend it and will return on my next trip to Rome.

An extraordinary experience. It was recommended to me, and I'm going to try it. It's a typical osteria-style place with very friendly, engaging staff. But what about the cuisine? Well-seasoned bruschetta, a perfect carbonara, a matriciana pasta dish, and amazing oxtail stew accompanied by excellent sautéed chicory, all washed down with a good local wine. I was pleased with the place and the food. Excellent, truly excellent.

Growing disappointment, declining quality The first course sauces continue to be too runny, and it's not the first time this has happened. The coffee, too, was a kind of broth: undrinkable. When I came years ago with my cousin Il Vespone (Gianpaolo Fabrizio), the portions were much more generous. A real shame, because the little square overlooking the restaurant is very picturesque, especially in the morning when it hosts a small fruit and vegetable market.

Everything was excellent! From the carbonara to the coda alla vaccinara, including the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Fair prices. Highly recommended!

Osteria to absolutely try! Super carbonara, grilled meat too, especially the lamb. Friendly and helpful waiters. Honest prices and consistent with the center of Rome.

Nice little place, off the beaten track and also frequented by locals. Staff not particularly friendly, but understandable at peak times. Good food, not exceptional but very good. Ideal for lunch and in the center.
