Fast and friendly service despite the large number of tables. The dishes are local but served with little touches of originality. The pasta plates are generous. Highly recommended.

Recommended by a friend who's also Ligurian, I wanted to try this Osteria during my stay in Rome. It's a very well-maintained restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, fast service, and very friendly staff. Naturally, I tried typical Roman dishes, such as carbonara (short pasta, perfectly al dente and a thick cream), coratella (just the right amount and beautifully plated), and finished with an excellent tiramisu, all accompanied by a good house red wine, served by the bottle.
I'll definitely be back, very happy to.

Roman cuisine. I had the meatballs, they tasted like my mom's... The Amatriciana was sumptuous. No digestive issues! Excellent!

Java (not sure that's the right spelling) best waiter we have had in Rome. We did not have a reservation, so we were seated at the bar. We watched the kitchen staff work so hard. The food was phenomenal!! And the whole atmosphere was amazing!! 10/10 would highly recommend.

Everything was truly excellent, the cuisine was amazing and above all the friendliness of the owner who pampers you in every detail with their delicacies, true Roman cuisine. The anchovy tart was truly excellent and the cod was beyond delicacy with its chickpea cream. I would say that when I return to Rome I will definitely come back to visit them.

One of the reasons I'd return to Rome is this restaurant. Excellent food, from appetizers to dessert. Authentic Roman cuisine. The price is more than fair for the quality. Highly recommended.

Osteria Mamma Mia in Flaminio offers cuisine that remains firmly rooted in Roman tradition, with dishes executed with precision. However, I was expecting a personal touch or something that would distinguish the dishes from the capital's typical offerings.
The service was friendly, but not always attentive. The wait for the rest of the bill, which I had to request, was a minor complaint. I also felt they paid too much attention to regulars, an attitude that risks making the place feel a bit too "neighborly" and less welcoming to first-time visitors.
In conclusion, this is a typical Roman osteria, neither good nor bad. Suitable for those seeking traditional flavors without pretensions of originality.

We came to this Osteria thanks to the manager of a nearby B&B, where we also had a wonderful time... what can I say... we in Palermo specialize in dishes that only we know how to cook... but here in this beautiful Osteria... we enjoyed some sublime dishes... rigatoni carbonara and a steak with chicory... and what can I say...!!!! Come, it's worth it!!!
