A quick stop is always worth it for an ombra (a glass of wine) and a porchetta sandwich. Lunch and dinner, however, are a bit more leisurely.

Very nice, authentic restaurant. A friendly welcome. The waiter explained the menu to us in English. We had two pasta dishes. Both were very good, just like mom made them. Thank you very much.

The experience of being hosted in what in Roman times was a "mansio" located along the Via Claudia Augusta and in medieval times an inn with a post station for changing horses. A legacy that remains in the surname of the family that runs this adorable inn. The heart and soul of hospitality are Matteo (a doctor graduated from DAMS), his family and the boys and girls of the service. An experience not to be missed for any reason in the world!

I have known this place for decades and I always go back very willingly to taste the porchetta and sopressa platters with sweet and sour Tropea onions and a good glass of wine.

Cozy old style environment. If you are looking for refined, this is not for you. If, however, you are looking for substance and hospitality with a nice dose of old-fashioned friendliness, this is your place. Varied and interesting menu, cheese and cured meat starter worth trying especially for the type and quality of the products offered. Recommended for foodies, if you aren't, let the waiter know, it's not nice to leave food on your plate.
