A wonderful osteria in the center of Siena. Excellent food, great service, and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back when we pass through Siena.

Amazing pasta! We were able to find a table for 2 without reservation but it looks like it’s a place for locals/friends. The service wasn’t that great, they were a lot more attentive with the other 2 tables and it took a while to order even though they just opened and it wasn’t busy. The bread was quite stale, it wasn’t fresh at all

About 16 years ago we were wandering with some friends around Siena, looking for some good place to eat... accidentally we found eldery people center. We decided to get in and ask them for they favourite place. They told us "Osteria Cice". Next was 2-3 hours searching for the place - no smartphones these days, also we were probably mispronouncing the name. Finally I can say that it was a good recommendation. We are going there every time, when in Siena.

This Osteria was recommended to us for its value. Not only were they right, but it's also a truly lovely place with excellent food and friendly, welcoming, and patient staff, even with lively children!

Prodotti di terra semplicemente perfetti, dalla carne sia agnello che vitello al top come gusto e cottura anche ai semplici tortini e ai crostini con mozzarella e acciughe veramente perfetti. Oste molto disponibile e simpatico e ragazze al servizio molto brave. Ottimo raporto qualita' prezzo. Super consigliatissimo a chi e' in zona

12/09/2025: Gorgeous place and impeccable food. All accompanied by friendly and prompt service. The meat is the highlight.
26/08/2025: I returned after many years. The place is still charming and offers a beautiful view of the parish church, surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the years are starting to show, and the weight of bygone glories is palpable. As for the food, the first courses were adequate, but the second courses weren't up to par for a place like this; they didn't even ask me how well the meat was cooked. The service was a bit chaotic, and there was a certain sense of disorganization.

25/08/2025: The waitresses, one with very long nails (hygiene?)🤐🤐 another with an angry face and the owner (?) also zero smiles zero courtesy, place not managed by Tuscans...... and poor and expensive dishes, almost tasteless the price not up to the quality of the food, expensive for quality food 👎 not to be repeated
