We went to eat at this lovely little place on Sunday, recommended to us by a local lady. I have to say we had a great time! It's a very quaint place, the food is good and plentiful, and the service is excellent! Highly recommended!

Very welcoming and warm tavern decorated in a characteristic way, we ate stracotto and ossobuco, everything really good but the stracotto... Excellent, very discreet and friendly waiter, in the area at the back of the restaurant there is neither internet nor phone service. Thanks to the wonderful exposed stone and the "old" walls, an excellent feature for avoiding phone calls, notifications and not being caught with your lover. 😉

This is a small restaurant with limited seating, but they let us sit for Sunday lunch without a reservation. We had a delicious potato tart with creamy pecorino cheese and pears as an appetizer, and two first courses: delicious tagliolini with truffle (no truffle sauce, which deserves an extra star) and fantastic pici. The prices are fair. A sure thing.

29/12/2025: Excellent and well-prepared food, very kind staff, every time I go to Rapolano I have to stop!!
26/12/2025: We stayed in Rapolano on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, treating ourselves to a spa experience. We then discovered, surprisingly, that the real gift was booking two consecutive evenings at this Trattoria! We were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink (a rare, precious gesture) and then immediately experienced the spontaneous kindness of the dining room staff, their smiles, their attentive service, and the delicious dishes that tasted of things made with love and pleasure. We thank the owner and chef for this wellness experience on such special days of the year. After meeting her, we learned that you can be anywhere and receive any service, but the unforgettable ingredient, which changes and transforms everything, remains the human heart.

14/01/2026: Wonderful local place to eat. We had the steak (best steak we have tasted in years), ragu and as a starter, the crostini with beans and lardo - heavenly. The guy running the place is clearly comitted to providing great quality food. Don't miss this place just because it isn't in the main square. It's worth the five mins walk to get there!
11/01/2026: Excellent osteria in the Contrada Pantera in Siena. I recommend it. The food, wine, and hospitality will definitely make you want to return!
