A quaint little place where we ate delicious garlic pici and Certaldo's signature onion soup. Definitely recommended for a break in the village!

Today we went to Certaldo for a short visit.
We had lunch at this Osteria, a pleasant discovery. We were warmly welcomed by the kind and very friendly staff, and the food was truly delicious. Superb ribollita (as a Lucca native would say), seasoned with delicious olive oil and accompanied by excellent red wine (they have a top-notch cellar and unique beers).
We continued with a mixed platter... what cured meats... a treat for the palate, even the cheeses with jams, divine.
We'll definitely be back; in the meantime, I highly recommend it.

While visiting the historic village of Certaldo, we found this restaurant, which was open for lunch for three people. The space isn't huge, but it's very welcoming and quaint. The menu isn't extensive, but it's well-chosen, and the service is attentive and friendly. The pici with ragù (no tomato sauce) is delicious, and the tiramisu is also very good. The price is fair. What more can I say? Highly recommended!

Attentive...courteous...welcoming service.
Truly excellent dishes (excellent pici all'aglione....sublime Francesina with onions....)
A must-visit place if you come to Certaldo.

Typical Tuscan trattoria in a beautiful village, very good food, courtesy, a relaxing atmosphere, a highly recommended place, everything is good from the starters to the dessert, I will definitely return

we get there by chance! We got one of the best pasta dishes while enjoying a local and traditional atmosphere. You need to try their pasta al "chichibio" - fungi, salchicha and tartufo!
