This restaurant is located in the historic center of Lecce. The menu is clearly displayed, with prices listed at the door. Reservations are recommended, as it gets very crowded on holidays. Typical local dishes, with horse meat as a staple. I recommend the sagne with cacioricotta and tria with chickpeas. Prices are reasonable. They take and deliver orders very quickly.

Lunch for two during a visit to Lecce. A very pleasant waitress greeted us and gave us excellent recommendations for two excellent pizzas, one vegetarian and the other with onions and meat. You need a good appetite. Exceptional value for money. A little outside the center, but worth it.

The trio of appetizers—fava beans, chicory, and pieces of horse meat in sauce—was good.
As for the orecchiette with ricotta cheese and the sagne ncannulate, they didn't impress us.
Personal opinion: the guys, who are very friendly, should be a little more "interested" in talking about the typical dishes and presenting local wines, and not just limit themselves to serving customers, who expect a better welcome in a place like this. Furthermore, it would perhaps be useful to learn the main languages, since Lecce (and the osteria itself) is a city that welcomes people from all over the world, and languages like English and Spanish should—I'm not saying they should be spoken like a native speaker, but at least be able to present a dish, the essentials.

Un restaurante local muy popular. La gente hacía cola - los que no tenían una reserva.
El servicio es amable, pero estos chicos están ocupados. La comida se sirve de manera oportuna, no apresurada, y tan pronto como haya terminado con su comida (bebidas incluidas) y se levante para irse, ese mantel se reemplaza en forma de mago para el siguiente grupo.
La carne de caballo es una especialidad en esta región de Italia y está en este restaurante.
También se especializan en platos de pasta Orecchiette, carne de res y cerdo.
Pedimos un plato antipasti, y añadimos solo 2 albóndigas de caballo (necesitaba saber).
Luego pedimos un filete de carne (grande) y un filete de pollo a la parrilla.
También pedimos una ensalada de acompañamiento y Cicorie Lesse (gallina hervida). BTB la pollería era muy delicioso!
Tomamos tiramisú y chocolate panna cotta de postre.
También bebimos un litro de agua y una botella de vino tinto, seguido de dos cafés.
Creo que podemos estar de acuerdo en que esto fue mucho! 80 . ~ 140 AUD .

Service impersonnel, pressé par le propriétaire. Bon mais sans plus, nous avons quitté pour prendre le dessert ailleurs. Nous ne recommandons pas ce restaurant qui est surévalué.
