This place is all about true Pugliese food, and it’s definitely worth a visit. It’s better to reserve ahead — otherwise, be ready for a long wait in line. Once seated, we found the staff super friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food very homey and authentic.
We started with orecchiette al pomodoro (simple yet amazing) and ciceri e tria (a classic dish, though not really to my taste). For the secondi, I was surprised by how delicious the turcinieddhri (sheep offal rolls) were — definitely recommended if you enjoy lamb or sheep. The real highlight for me, though, was the polpette di cavallo al sugo — absolutely delicious!
For dessert, don’t even think of skipping it. The toasted dried figs stuffed with almonds and the spumone fichi e mandorle were simply incredible, the perfect way to end the meal.
A great place to discover authentic, local Pugliese cuisine with genuine hospitality.

Delicious dinner.
Delicious eggplant parmesan.
The orechiette was also exquisite!
And the typical pasta dish with chickpeas.
Very good service and attentiveness.

Un restaurante local muy popular. La gente hacía cola - los que no tenían una reserva.
El servicio es amable, pero estos chicos están ocupados. La comida se sirve de manera oportuna, no apresurada, y tan pronto como haya terminado con su comida (bebidas incluidas) y se levante para irse, ese mantel se reemplaza en forma de mago para el siguiente grupo.
La carne de caballo es una especialidad en esta región de Italia y está en este restaurante.
También se especializan en platos de pasta Orecchiette, carne de res y cerdo.
Pedimos un plato antipasti, y añadimos solo 2 albóndigas de caballo (necesitaba saber).
Luego pedimos un filete de carne (grande) y un filete de pollo a la parrilla.
También pedimos una ensalada de acompañamiento y Cicorie Lesse (gallina hervida). BTB la pollería era muy delicioso!
Tomamos tiramisú y chocolate panna cotta de postre.
También bebimos un litro de agua y una botella de vino tinto, seguido de dos cafés.
Creo que podemos estar de acuerdo en que esto fue mucho! 80 . ~ 140 AUD .

Este es un auténtico restaurante Lecce. El servicio es de alta energía, la comida deliciosa y a un precio razonable. Mención especial a Stefano Zen e Samuele que hizo nuestra noche memorable.
