Osteria Cucinoteca In Cagli

Five of us arrived unexpectedly on a Sunday and were greeted with a truly special welcome. The owners, a very kind couple, immediately made us feel at home. The cured meats, bread, and wine were excellent, with a truly amazing house wine. We also greatly appreciated their advice and friendly conversation, which made the lunch even more enjoyable. A simple, authentic, and well-kept place, where you can sense their passion for what they do. We'll definitely be back!

We had lunch outside this small restaurant in the center of Cagli. The cured meats and cheese appetizer was very good, and you could tell the ingredients were high-quality. The pumpkin-filled caramels with cacio e pepe were absolutely amazing, a truly top-notch dish. Unfortunately, the porcini and truffle tortelli lacked both truffle and porcini mushrooms. The beef fillet and guinea fowl were both very good (the main courses were a bit pricey). The mascarpone cream was quite unsavory, a runny foam that bore little resemblance to what was described. Overall, a nice place to eat good-quality, well-cooked products.
