15/01/2026: We had arrived a little late for breakfast, and the place was obviously very busy, with no seating available. Despite this, the owner was kind enough to let us serve ourselves at the counter.
We ordered four different cake flavors, accompanied by various drinks: hot chocolate, cappuccino, espresso, and, to finish, a pear and fig grappa.
It was my second visit to this place, which I find truly beautiful and welcoming. I returned precisely because I remembered how delicious the cakes and, especially, the grappa were.
Even though there were four of us and it was a bit overwhelming at the counter, I want to thank the owner for her courtesy, patience, and helpfulness, especially in explaining the differences between the various cake flavors to my foreign guests.
Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to make this short and pleasant pit stop.
11/01/2026: Both the cold cuts and the grilled game dish were spectacular, and the cheese with porcini mushrooms was also good. The bacon on the crostini was a shame, as it was cut too thick. The staff was courteous and professional.
