Osteria Cominelli In Brescia

We went for lunch one Sunday with two acquaintances: the menu selection is quite limited, the appetizer is served (and paid for) whether you want it or not, and the choice is limited to five first courses and five second courses, all fairly standard and not worth going to a restaurant for. If I'm forced to order an appetizer where the main part is julienned cabbage, that's just not the case. The first courses we tried: lasagna was average, nothing exceptional; orecchiette with bagoss cheese and sausage; overcooked orecchiette, but the bagoss cheese didn't arrive; casoncelli with butter and sage, just like the ones you get at the supermarket. Dessert was acceptable, but nothing more. In conclusion: I would have done better to cook at home for my guests; I would have spent less and certainly enjoyed the meal more.

It was a wonderful experience and a pleasure to meet the Chef and his wonderful family. We ate well and the portions were just right. Next time we'll try the desserts too. The house appetizer was good, but be careful to start with the more delicate flavors and gradually move on to the more flavorful ones like the Angus. The cotechino was good, and I loved the lasagna, perfectly creamy. The price was almost right. We'll be back 💪🏻

A wonderful experience; a dinner after a sports competition (SPACCAGAMBE_2026). We arrived without a reservation, but were still greeted very kindly. The service was quick and never intrusive. A wonderful evening. I recommend (for those who appreciate it) the tripe with lampredotto, delicious even though it was already May, and the tiramisu.

I was there today for my son's confirmation. Traditional cuisine revisited with passion, intelligence, and high-quality ingredients. The setting is beautiful, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. But there's something more: the intangible quality of a true, time-honored, heartfelt, and caring culinary experience. A rarity.

Discovered by chance. A delightful evening, infinite kindness, and superb food. I'll be back.
