Osteria Cipolla Rossa In Firenze

I happened to stop by and had a delicious meal. Florence is a tourist town, so I don't remember having a particularly good meal, but visiting this restaurant changed my mind. The pasta in the second photo is the basil tomato pasta, and wow... it was truly delicious. The ingredients blended well together, and the texture of the pasta was wonderful. The first photo is the wild boar pasta. It wasn't anything special, but it had a familiar flavor and was delicious. If I ever go back to Florence, I'd love to come back and try some of the other dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly. The best. . I visited again in November. I had such a great meal that I brought my mom back. The staff were just as friendly, and the food was delicious as always. My mom also loved the Choi Gong Pasta. I wanted to tell the owner about this, but he seemed very busy, so I just said "I enjoyed it" and left. It's a shame, but I look forward to seeing you again. Stay healthy, boss!

From the start, it's clear it's a good place, with lots of people and many restaurants. The waitress was lovely. She chatted with us, was attentive, and was constantly on the go. The food... we opted for typical Tuscan dishes. The tortelli with ragu were delicious, and especially the beef stew with Chianti, or Peposo Toscano, was incredible. For dessert, the tiramisu was very, very good, and we tried the best cantucci of the trip, with Vin Santo for dipping. Everything was excellent.

Truly a top-notch place! Spectacular cuisine, great hospitality, and more than fair prices. We'll be back 🤩😉

Probably one of the best restaurants we have ever tried ! We had a starter to share, two dishes and one tiramisu, everything exceeding our expectations. The staff was also very nice. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough !

The culinary offerings in Florence are truly vast and varied. I chose this place instinctively and was pleasantly surprised. It's a simple, down-to-earth place, very welcoming, with a very interesting selection of traditional dishes. The dishes are well-prepared and generously portioned. The pappardelle with wild boar, the ravioli alla carrettiera, the tagliolini with truffles, and the ribollita—a superb Florentine dish—are all excellent! The place also offers a wide selection of fine Tuscan wines. To finish, the chocolate cake, so melting, is a delight! Thanks to Francesco, who served us with attention and kindness.

We were at this restaurant a month ago. Everything was perfect. Location in the center of Florence, very characteristic, with attention to every detail. The staff was very kind and helpful, and they were able to advise us on the best dishes to choose. The food was excellent, to say the least; the first courses were delicious, and the Fiorentina steak was incredibly high quality. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

Food heaven 😇. We ate here on two consecutive nights. This evening we had ravioli with insalata and for dessert apple tart and panna cotta - all of it was absolutely delicious, fresh and homemade. Yesterday we had the slow cooked beef stew and tirimisu. Oh my goodness, the meat melted in my mouth. The only problem here is what to choose. The wine is very good too! 🤩

The food was excellent, as were the staff, who were also very kind, if they were kind accordingly.

Excellent traditional trattoria just steps from the Duomo. Excellent meat, fair prices. If we ever find ourselves in Florence again, we'd gladly return.
