Osteria Cipolla Rossa In Firenze

This is my second visit, and I have to say that despite the large crowd, they were prompt with service, friendly, and attentive in their recommendations, and provided excellent quality food. Everything was excellent, but I couldn't figure out the secret to the baked potatoes, which have a truly delicious flavor. Highly recommended for meat and traditional Tuscan cuisine.

Authentic Tuscan cuisine. Dishes and courses that are truly satisfying, not only for the palate, but also for the aromas and attention to detail in the plating. Located in the heart of the historic center, it's always worth a visit.

A very touristy place, but with an original and traditional feel. The food is very good, and the service is very friendly and welcoming (though we did experience a few small glitches once the place got busy). The attention to detail and the gluten-free options are particularly noteworthy! The dishes we ordered were all very good, except for the boiled meat with green sauce, which I don't recommend (and I say this as a lover of boiled meat and the traditional "fifth quarter" dish). The meat in this dish was extremely tough, and the green sauce was nonexistent. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. On the other hand, the first course (which, like the dish mentioned above, I forgot to photograph) was incredible. It was an off-menu version of pici with white ragù and mushrooms, which were truly exceptional. Also worthy of mention is the panna cotta, a dish I don't usually like here, but it was excellent. So, all in all, I highly recommend this place, especially given its excellent location behind San Lorenzo.

The waiters were incredibly patient! I don't speak any Italian or fluent English, but I received very patient service and they recommended some delicious pasta dishes! The vegetable broth might be a bit salty for Asian palates, so I'd suggest using less salt. The pasta itself was excellent!

Osteria with a capital "O," we had lunch here a few days ago. A classic Florentine osteria with home-style cuisine, excellent first courses, excellent tripe, and good wine. If I really had to find a negative, it would be the price for a glass of wine; €10 is a bit steep. Recommended osteria

We found this place quickly upon arriving at the hotel. It's quaint, welcoming, and has a quality menu (not the typical "a bit of everything" tourist fare). Very friendly staff.

The atmosphere is refined, informal yet elegant. The dishes were generous and tasted exceptionally good. We were served with extreme kindness, and the bill was reasonable for what we ate. I recommend this restaurant a thousand times over. The chef, the waiter, and the gentleman at the counter were excellent. A wonderful experience. Coming from a true Florentine! Congratulations, truly excellent.
