It lives up to its name. Very varied and delicious food in a prime location. Friendly and helpful staff. A must.

One of the most beautiful places I know. Truffle specialties at reasonable prices. The best wines. Everything at moderate prices. The sunset is world-class. I wrote that five years ago. Today, unfortunately, the place is a bit of a posh place. The food quality has a lot of room for improvement. The truffle flavor is often barely noticeable. The view is still beautiful. Thankfully, that can't be changed. It's best to take a few steps to the side. Then you won't have to deal with the pushy crowd. What a shame about this once-nice place.

The food is great, the place is great and the hospitality is great! The first time we went, we were just passing by. They were fully occupied, but when we asked if we could get dinner, they arranged a table for us (placed one extra for us). We got the best wine and a great explanation by Davide (one of the owners). We liked it so much we came back two days later :). We would recommend everyone in the area to visit Davide and his brother (tip: go when there is golden hour)! Enjoy! Greetings from Mark and Anna

Spectacular location on the walls of Fratte Rosa, with an unobstructed view of dozens of kilometers of hills, with the Nerone Apennines and Catria in the background. The sun sets behind the high mountains, creating one of the best settings for a terrace with a few tables. The staff is delightfully friendly and attentive. Excellent local dishes: Fratte Rosa fava beans, crescie, some special truffle dishes—called "chicche" on the menu—a platter of local cured meats, and a wine list from the surrounding area: all wineries just a few kilometers away. Of course, the summer truffle in July is little more than a delicately scented garnish, but this isn't the season. The price is neither low nor high, appropriate for the menu: for two, we spent €44 each with an excellent bottle of Bianchello, appetizers, and main course, plus a dessert of baked biscuits (from Fratte Rosa). Open only in the afternoon/evening, out of respect for the restaurant staff. You won't be disappointed; in fact, you'll be back, like us! One small criticism: the menu quotes Victor Hugo with a praise of silence, but the background music I found jarring. Listen to me: it doesn't add anything to the place, quite the opposite... :-) A final thank you to the friendly owners; passion and commitment, combined with a love of the local area, pay off.

We ate here on the recommendation of the Sempreverde campsite. We were with four children (11, 9, and twins aged 3.5). Reservations are required 😉 The host/owner speaks fluent English and passionately explains the menu and the delicious dishes. The menu is only in Italian. We asked for a surprise menu, which is also suitable for children. Once everything was served, everyone loved it and ate everything.
