I found this gem after reading an article on Condé Nast Traveler. This restaurant doesn’t disappoint. We arrived a few minutes after they opened; the place was already filled with locals. Luckily, we got a table right away. The server was kind and provided menus in English. The food is exquisite. This is my favorite restaurant in Rome.

Neighborhood trattoria without too many frills but valid! Not a huge menu but one that can please everyone. Fast table service with attentive and friendly staff. For a "Trattoria" prices a little above the norm. After some time I confirm the whole review both for the quality of the dishes served and for the dining room service, with a small negative note for the small size of the tables (minimal) where you eat. If you order side dishes or two dishes at the same time, you really don't know where to place them considering the presence of glasses, bread basket, water and any wine ordered. The background noise perceived for the buzz of customers is quite annoying.

I ate well. Tasted potato peels for the first time😋. Very fast service and the guy who took care of us was very kind. Fair price, coffee offered... I'll be back

I discovered it is a place that has been in business for twenty years in Rome. Despite the years I must say that the food is excellent, I tasted two fish dishes and they were exceptional! Polite and helpful service, prices in line with the period! Overall positive experiences!

Pranzo con la famiglia, caratteristica osteria nel quartiere Trieste, buonissimi i fritti e i carciofi alla giudia, eccellenti tutti i primi alla romana, tutti quelli nel menù, ben preparati e conditi al punto giusto. Le bucce di patate sono fantastiche, ma non sempre ci sono. Ottimi anche i dolci fatti in casa. Prenotazione direi obbligatoria se volete trovare posto. E' molto frequentato e questo è un ottimo biglietto da visita. Gentilezza e professionalità espressa da tutto il personale. Complimenti a tutta la cucina e arrivederci alla prossima occasione.

Locale molto carino, personale accorto e gentile, servizio rapido, piatti molto buoni (in particolare carciofi e alici fritte, ma non solo). Prezzo nella media. Veramente consigliato.

31/03/2025: The salad caesar wasn’t good, looks like just half of spoon for Caesar dressing so the salad was dry. Tomato pasta 🍝 quite a good, can’t complain. I’ve ordered a beer but didn’t get it 😅 Aperol spritz was terrible 😢 Can’t recommend it…
31/03/2025: Truly a wonderful experience! The staff are lovely and the food was delicious! We came here on a whim and we were so happy with everything. It was also a pleasant surprise to see the good work that this restaurant does with special needs people. A wonderful project!

11/02/2025: Small family-run neighborhood restaurant. Simple, quiet and welcoming environment. Excellent cuisine, not only traditional recipes, excellent dishes especially fish. Curated wine list with non-trivial choices. The young managers, the lady in the kitchen and her husband, an expert winemaker, in the dining room, were very kind, helpful and professional. Even without the coupon we used, the prices are honest in relation to the quality. Very recommended.
12/01/2025: I ate fish (first and second course) with a final side dish of roast potatoes. I was satisfied with the quality of the food, also appreciating the quantity of the absolutely satisfying portion. Typical atmosphere of a restaurant with a small environment that reminds me of a cuisine from years ago, without toxic invasions of modernity. A surprise for me: the absolutely delicious and crunchy accompanying bread.
