06/09/2025: Excellent Ligurian specialties, from farinata to minestrone, from ravioli aü tuccu to fried anchovies... I was able to make a reservation, and I think it's much better to do so, given how busy it is... Truly a great place, also for introducing Ligurian cuisine to friends who are visiting from out of town!!! Prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of the dishes!!!
27/08/2025: The restaurant isn't affordable for the average person. I mention this for those who might still be misled about the nature of this former tavern, now a renowned restaurant. The price, however, is amply justified by the quality of the cuisine, which is simply superb. Farinata, vegetable fillings, anchovies: everything is simply delicious.
The table service, however, leaves a bit to be desired. There's a certain improvisation, something that unfortunately has become increasingly common since COVID. Worse, since this is no longer a typical trattoria, diners aren't offered a menu. The waiter is sent with an order book, as if it were still a relatively inexpensive trattoria.
Finally, I realize it's foolish to order beer in a place like this. But they can't even serve a bad beer.
