In the small barrel the wine is good. Small but excellent place. Compliments. Beyond expectations.

Food without great pretensions, very well prepared and with high flavor. Kind and correct attention. Site that I would recommend to my friends.

Good place. Cozy atmosphere and very nice and helpful staff. The portions of the dishes are generous and are carefully presented, the quality is quite good with a typical Tuscan menu. The quality-price ratio is right.

We arrived at 1.30pm and asked for lunch. The no-nonsense manager told us: Calmly and without haste!! The place was not air conditioned, it was 36 degrees outside and something more inside! Luckily we ate very well and this made us feel good despite everything!

We were on Friday for lunch in this fantastic place which is the Osteria Cavolo Nero, a truly pleasant discovery. All dishes are freshly prepared, in fact the quality of the dishes is high. The only flaw... just to be picky... is the quantity of food on the plates... being from the south my eyes shine when they bring me a large plate of pasta.

We came across this place by chance during a quick stopover in Empoli. The restaurant not only has a small front garden in the pedestrian zone, but is also very nicely designed inside. The Vino della Casa tasted very good in both red and white. She really liked the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and zucchini that my wife had, and my cod on mashed potatoes was also excellent. Unfortunately we couldn't use the front garden due to the temperatures outside, but from spring to autumn it's certainly an additional, great asset.
