Osteria Castelvecchio In Castel goffredo

A little gem, a rustic family restaurant, with very good traditional dishes and excellent homemade desserts.

I went to this osteria for lunch. Ms. Lucia was very kind and the service was prompt. We ordered two appetizers and three tortelli, amari di Castel Goffredo, water, wine, bread, and taralli. Everything was really good, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

A typical trattoria with excellent local dishes! I recommend the pumpkin and bitter herb ravioli...amazing! Welcoming and helpful staff! Excellent value for money!! I highly recommend it!

So-so food, small portions, ok service...excellent bill

An old-fashioned osteria, simple, basic, yet very welcoming. We immediately felt at ease. The menu offers delicious local specialties, served with warmth and efficiency. The local wine (we had a quarter of a Sangiovese) and the coffee were excellent. The latter was served in little glasses. Wonderful to see and experience. A truly quaint inn worth a visit!

Tortelli amari, typical of the area. Excellent! The atmosphere is family-friendly, clean, and quiet. Welcoming. Highly recommended 👍

I really have to thank Andrea from the B&B where I stayed and the other reviews that convinced me to book this wonderful restaurant. We met Lucia, who served us an exquisite dinner. We truly enjoyed four first courses, each one better than the last. I tried three, including agnolotti in brodo, which was absolutely amazing. My son had tagliatelle with a delicate duck sauce; my other son had gnocchi with taleggio cheese, which were very tasty; and my partner had bigoli with sardines, which I didn't try but he said was delicious. For second courses, we had spectacular Venetian liver, and the little ones had a generous tiramisu and chocolate salami. All truly delicious at a truly reasonable price. I highly recommend it if you're passing through or if you're looking for an alternative lunch, stop by—you won't be disappointed.

Traditional but very good quality restaurant.

I visited this osteria in Castel Goffredo on the hotelier's recommendation, and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery! The place is small but very welcoming, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was extremely kind and always available. I loved the sliced ​​beef with baked potatoes—truly superb! But the real highlight of the dinner was the panna cotta with persimmon cream: simply amazing. Very fair prices. Highly recommended!
