A fantastic place to enjoy a delicious dinner or lunch with friends... but also a romantic spot for two. Excellent, authentic food guaranteed by a short supply chain. Fantastic selection of their own wines.

Osteria Cantagallo was a pleasant discovery. The place is very beautiful, well-kept, intimate, and pleasant to live in, with a fabulous view of the hills. It's an excellent setting for both dinners with friends and more romantic dinners where two gourmets sit at the table and enjoy the pleasure of eating. Form and substance come together on the plate. The food is excellent and the portions are generous, fully respecting our traditions. The service is excellent: courteous, attentive, and punctual. The quality/price ratio is more than good. A place definitely worth trying, recommending, and returning to.

Dinner for two, excellent house appetizer, pappardelle with wild boar and tagliatelle with garden flavors, very good millefeuille with peach cream, excellent, everyone good and very kind, honest bill, we will be back to try other dishes

Excellent osteria, beautiful environment. The food is very tasty, a moderate but very Tuscan selection. We recommend the cold appetizer of cold cuts and cheese from Tuscany - fabulous. Thank you to the staff, very kind.

30/09/2025: A steak is a steak unless it is in Florence which somehow elevates it to another level. The chefs made the night by putting on a display behind the glass windows. I feel sorry for them- it must be hot in the kitchen.

Trattoria Baldini

07/10/2025: A very good place with typical Italian food. The atmosphere is like a tattoria and very busy, making it a great experience.
04/10/2025: We (two people) arrived around 7 p.m. without a reservation and got a table. By 8 p.m., however, the restaurant was full, with mostly Italians and locals, which is always a good sign. The menu was entirely in Italian, which is no longer a problem with a smartphone. The server was very friendly and spoke English. The ambiance was that of a traditional trattoria and very nice. We had bruchetta with delicious tomatoes for starters. The main course was gnocchi and the Tuscan spaghetti (pinci or something similar) were the best of our trip! For dessert, we ordered tiramisu. The tiramisu came with two spoons without being asked. This, too, was the best of the entire trip! The prices at the trattoria are reasonable to average. All in all, a clear recommendation if you want to go out to eat in Florence in the evening and don't want to go to the tourist center.
